References, both in the text and notes, must specify the author’s surname and the date of publication in round brackets, e.g. (Matteucci 1997) or (Matteucci 1997:38). References to authors must be followed by the date of publication). If the publication date of the original version is also quoted, it must be put in square brackets, e.g. (Smith 2006 [1776]).
The final bibliography must list all the references which have been included in the text and notes.
