5416 AUST WW2 RAAF OFFICER'S WINTER S/D TUNIC. ENLISTED MAN'S patt with rank for flying officer. Has all bakerlite K/C buttons, and S/D belt. Made by M.TX. Also has sewn on ribbon bar for 1939/45 star, Pacific and War medal. Moth nips and grazing to left arm and lower front. Waist about size 82cm. Grade II-. $150

5417 AUST WW2 RAAF KD SD TUNIC. Has black KC bakelite buttons. No other insignia. Dated 1943 by MTX. Size 9. Unissued still with Stores tag marked 'JKT Airmen Drab RAAF'. Grade II. $85

5418 AUST WW2 RAAF NCOs 4 POCKET SD TUNIC (WINTER). Black bakelite buttons, cloth Eagles to both L & R shoulders, Corporals chevrons to both sleeves. Has ribbon bar for 1939-45 Star and Pacific Star. Made by 'MTX'. Waist about size 84cm. No belt. Grade II- $200

5420 AUST WW2 RAAF KHAKI AERTEX SD TUNIC. Made in Australia by V188. Size 14 1944 dated. Black KC bakelite buttons, slip on rank for Flying Officer. Has ribbon bar for 1939-45 Star Grade II- $150

5421 AUST WW2 Late War RAAF Officers K/D Tropical Tunic. 4 pocket shirt type tunic with slip-on rank bands for Flt. Lt. Black bakelite buttons. Date worn. Has pin on RAAF Pilots Wings, these made from Winter S/D wings stitched onto a perspex backplate with a safety pin. (Stitching coming away). C/W S/D Belt. Grade II. $285

5422 AUST WWI-20'S KHAKI WOOL WINTER TUNIC (unlined) rank of Captain. Has all oxy buttons, collar badges and titles intact. Has quite a bit of moth grazing, especially to the under arms and back. Very few actual moth holes but there is some tears and fraying to the under arms and a little to the back. Tunic also has a ribbon bar (damaged) which has been sewn on. Consists of Military Cross, British War Medal and an Allied Victory Medal, the colour patch is for the 18th Battalion (1945-19). There is also a wound stripe and three overseas service cheverons. Overall it still makes for a good tunic, would make a good display piece. Grade III+ $2000

5423 AUST WWI 1ST DIVISIONAL ARTILLERY ENLISTED MANS TUNIC. A very desirable khaki wool serge tunic, of Australian pattern and make. It is un-lined and has no visible dates or makers labels but for a red outline on the inside pocket. The integral belt is still intact and the breast pockets are of the long variety, the four large and eight small buttons on the tunic are original Bakelite. There are colour patches for the 1st Divisional Artillery, these are of a woven type and have been hand sewn on, both colour patches have a brass "A" indicating previous service at Gallipoli. Four overseas service chevrons are on the right sleeve which are also of the woven type, one is red for service in 1914. There are oxy rising sun collar badges and Australia shoulder titles, as well as evidence the tunic once had the rank of captain but the pips have been removed and small holes are evident, (the pips could easily be replaced). A field made ribbon bar (that appears to be ribbon sewn around card) for a WWI trio is also intact. There is very little damage to the tunic apart from removed badges of rank, which is on the epaulettes as well as four small holes on each sleeve (a badge of rank?) and a few small holes on the bottom corners of the l/h waist pocket, this does not detract from appearance at all. This tunic is in fantastic condition for one of its age and rarity, certainly one of the best tunics IS Wright has had to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity. Grade II $8500

5424 AUST WW2 WW1 RE-ENACTORS TUNIC. A WW2 tunic modified to represent a WW1 tunic. Waist has been altered to include integal belt as per WW1. Great for re-enactors with repro 4th light horse colour patches and original WW2 oxy buttons titles and collars. 91 centremetre waist, would also be a good display piece. Grade II- $250

5426 AUST WW2 KD (KHAKI DRILL) SERGEANT'S TUNIC. Made by Melbourne textiles. Small size sergeants chevrons factory sewn. Breast pockets only. (No lower pockets) 2x small clip/hook fasteners in the collar area. Buttons (Aust. commonwealth military forces) couple or minor rust spots to collar. Displays well. Grade II- $95

5427 AUST WW2 B.C.O.F OFFICERS S/D TUNIC. Khaki wool. Brass AMF buttons, Rising Sun collars and rank pips for Captain. "Australia" metal shoulder titles removed and repalced by cloth ones. K/C cloth B.C.O.F patch to L/H shoulder and 65th Aust Inf Bn colour patch to the R/H shoulder. Seven place ribbon bar. A couple of small moth holes/nips, mainly to reverse. O/A a nice good B.C tunic with correct insignia. Grade II $385

5428 AUST WW2 TUNIC NURSE GREY FLANNEL MATERIAL. With AMF brass/ oxy buttons. Brown epaulettes show signs of previously sewn-on rank and Australia titles (not currently sold with this tunic). Double colour patches to both sleeves. Mini patches for 119th Aust General Hospital. Some small moth nips. 1 overseas service chevron to R/H/S. Very small size. Grade II- $860

5429 AUST WW2 ARMY OFFICERS WINTER S/D TUNIC. Khaki wool, complete with buttons, collar badges and officers 'pips'. Intact belt and makers label. V.good condition. Fine example of a captain's tunic. Minor moth nip to the left hand sleeve and right hand back. Has mini and full sized colour patch for Aust Army Ordnance Corps. Grade II- $275

5430 AUST WW2 KHAKI DRILL OFFICERS TUNIC. Has rank of lieutenant. Complete with pips and oxy collar badges/buttons. No mothing, but there are a few light stains, made by "Wardrop" of Melbourne. Grade II+ $200

5431 AUST WW2 ENLISTED RANKS TUNIC. Two breast pockets, no hip pockets and a hook and eye collar. Oxy AMF buttons, Australia shoulder titles and oxy rising sun collar badges. Also has three blue on K/D overseas service chevrons which are badly mothed. Dated 1942 the tunic is lightly service use soiled. Grade II- $120

5432 AUST 1930-45 Militia period blues tunic Royal Australian Artillery Bombardier(Red, Large Chevrons) medium size >90cm chest. Gilt master gunlayer proficiency badge to right lower sleeve. Gilt 'R.A.A.' collar badges, brass 'R.A.A.' shoulder titles and brass well polished period 'R.A.A.' buttons. Few small moth holes to area of lower pockets (hard to see asthey have only penetrated the first layer of cloth). 1st divisional artillery colour patches. Couple of minor repairs to holes in the right sleeve under rank cheverons. A lovely militia period tunic. Grade II- $500

5433 AUST WW2 PAIR OF OFFICERS TUNICS. One is an other ranks pattern wool/serge tunic, the other is a wool service tunic. The other ranks pattern tunic has various mothing, mainly to the back of the right hand sleeve, upper back and to the area around the right hand waist pocket. Tunic has the rank of Lieutenant, complete with pips, shoulder titles rope lanyard and oxy collar badge/buttons. There are two colour patches, one a miniature for the 2/28th Aust. infantry battalion and the full size patch for the Aust. Army medical corps. There are three blue cheverons for overseas service and the makers label is intact but somewhat faded. Overal it's a good looking tunic that would make for a great display piece. The wool service tunic has rank of Lieutenant as well as pips, shoulder titles, oxy collar badges/buttons, material waist belt and three blue overseas service cheverons. There are two colour patches, infantry battalion patch for the Aust. Army Medical Corps. There is also a two ribbon medal bar for a 1939-45 star and an Africa star. There is al fair bit of moth grazing on the tunic but mainly to both sleeves, the upper back and to the left side of the front of the tunic. The inner linning is in good condition, no holes and only minor fraying to the edges. A very impressive tunic. Both making for a very desirable and unique pair. Grade II- $600

5434 AUST WW2 RAAF SERVICE DRESS TUNIC PILOT OFFICER AIR BUNNER. Made by MTX Melbourne textiles 1944 size 12 (approx 95-100 cm chest). Very nice worsted, padded air gunners half wing insignia to breast. All buttons intact and nice 4 years overseas/active service badge to lower sleeve. Appears to be no visible mothing but one or two very light stains. Only. Grade II- $275

5435 FRANCE WW1 1915 HORIZON BLUE WOOL TUNIC FOR THE 89TH INFANTRY REGT. Bursting bomb buttonts. Wool "89" Collar patches. White linen lined. Well marked inside. Shows only age wear no damage. A very nice example of a WW1 Tunic. Grade II. $1350

5436 GB WW2 ATS OTHER RANK'S ISSUE TUNIC. A good example worn by a Lance Corporal attached to the Royal Artillery. The Tunic is of the standard pattern complete with brass General Serice buttons and to the left breast a Royal Artillery grenade collar badge. To each arm, a Lance Corporal's chevron and hand embroidered Anti Aircraft Command formation badge. To the cuffs, a Good Conduct chevron and five service chevrons. Complete with ATS brass titles and lanyard. Waist small, about 75cm. Nice Example. Grade II-. $325

5443 GB WW2 CIVIL DEFENCE A.R.P. WARDEN'S TUNIC. Navy blue wool Tunic with two breast pockets, black plastic K/C "CD" Buttons (one missing from left epaulette.) 1944 dated and marked on label "Jacket. Pattern No: A.R.P.71". Scarce. Grade II-. $150

5444 GERM WW2 ARMY PIONIERS OFFICER'S M36 TUNIC. This is an absolutely fantastic early four pocket tunic. Six button front. Five field grey trikot wool with French Cuffs, Dark Green stand and fall collar. Early style internal hip pockets with external flaps and rear "Button" belt ramps on skirt. Officer's silver bullion breast eagle (minor damage to the black cotton highlights on R/H Wing). Black piped silver bullion Officer's collar Litzens. Sew in dull Shoulder Boards for Major on black underlay for Pioneer/ Engineers. Provision for two breast awards. Has five place EK2, KVK with swords, Eastern Front, Army 4 Year Long Service and Romainian Anti Communist. Fully lined in Green cloth with cream cloth sleeve lining. Has tailors label on lining. Shows service wear and light soiling, but no damage. A very fine Army Officer's Tunic, impressive and highly sought after. Grade II+ $2850

5445 GERM PRE 1910 IMPERIAL CHILD'S PARADE TUNIC. Dark blue with red facings & piping. Original issue, full size, sew-in Prussian Shoulderboards of silver Bullion (now toned with age) with black intermittent zig-zag design. Red underlay. Gilt pip & Gilt numbers "136" to each. Six plain gilt buttons to front. Red "Brandenburg" cuffs with two plain gilt buttons to each. Four plain gilt buttons to rear flap section which has red piping. Partial lining to interior in good condition. Small size, would have been worn by a five or six year old child. Few very small holes/tears, not very noticeable, otherwise Grade II- $350

5447 GERM WW2 INFANTRY NCOs PARADE TUNIC RANK OF FELDWEBEL. Trikot cloth. Fully ornamented with nice wide NCO tresse around top of collar & on cuffs. White piped for Infantry. Single gilt pip & tresse to shoulder boards. Officers quality bullion breast Eagle. Full silk like lining with tailors striped sleeve lining. Provision for two breast awards. C/w DRL Sports badge in bronze. O/a light soiling & areas of moth damage (grazing & small holes) to both front and reverse. O/a a nice looking tunic. Grade II- $1300

5448 GERM WW2 Army Artillery NCO's Parade Tunic. This actual tunic is featured in the recently published book titled "Waffenrock, Parade Uniforms of the German Army" by Ltc. (ret.) Timothy J. Curley + Neil G. Stewart. Pages 140, 142, 170 & 171. Field grey woolen tunic with eight silver pebbled buttons to front closure. Dark green collar with red piping and collar tabs with silver bullion tress on a red underlay. Dark green shoulder straps with red piping and identification slides for Artillery Regt 33. Original Regt. Identifiers removed from shoulder straps for regulation. Red piping to front closure. Loops for two awards, lower one with a black wound badge still present. Early NCO's Alum. Thread Breast Eagle. Dark green Brandenburg cuffs with red piping and two cuff tabs to each, both with silver bullion tress on red underlay and a silver pebbled button to each tab. Rear skirt with red piping and 6 silver pebbled buttons. Rank patch for Obergefreiter to left sleeve. Greyish-brown artificial silk lining with internal pocket. Ink stampings above pocket indicating it was a 1936 Tunic accepted at the Erfurt Depot. Unit stamp indicates the soldier belonged to an observation battalion. Striped internal lining to sleeves, showing wear inside cuff sections. C/W a B/W Photograph of the original owner (wearing the tunic) in its celluloid holder with a coloured party badge emblem printed on it, found in the pocket of the tunic. Rev. of Photograph has German writing dated 18-9-40 and writing of the G.I. who detained the uniform, stating "This is what we are fighting - course they might not be all as good looking - Crosby". Artillery Regt. 33 was organized in 1936 as part of the Wehrmacht Expansion, it was part of the 33rd Infantry Div., occupying the Saar until the invasion of France went through several reoganizations, becoming motorized then armoured. It was assigned to the 15th Panzer Div. and sent to Africa as part of Rommel's Afrika Korps. The Regt. was destroyed in Tunis in the May 1943 Collapse in Africa. States in the book that when the tunic was acquired by the authors, it was missing the 2 top front closure buttons and the identification slides which they had replaced. Very desireable tunic for the Third Reich Collector. Grade II-. $2250

5449 GERM WW2 Luftwaffe EM's Flieger Blouse. Blue-Grey Woollen Material with five convealed plastic buttons to front closure and a metal hook for neck closure. Lower pocket to either side with a pocket flap and a grey painted, pebbled Alum. button to each one. Bevo-woven 2nd Pattern Breast eagle to right breast. Detachable shoulder straps with yellow piping and both with a grey painted, pebbled Alum. button. Yellow collar tabs with an Alum. gull to each one. Blue-grey artificial silk partial lining to interior with an internal breast pocket to either side. Lower internal wound pocket to R/S. Has provision for internal collar. "Geschwader Boelcke" Cuff title to lower right sleeve. A very nice example of a wording manufactured Flieger Blouse with no moth damage. Grade II $2250

5450 GERM WW2 Luftwaffe Fallschirmjager Fliegerbluse. Luftwaffe blue-grey woollen construction with five concealed black plastic buttons and lower added press stud to front closure. Pebbled button to each straight edged pocket flap. Yellow twisted piping to exterior of collar (re-attached) to bottom corner of right collar. Two yellow collar tabs with a single aluminium gull to each one for rank of flieger. Slip-on Luftwaffe blue-grey woollen shoulder straps with yellow piping, each one attached to a pebbled alum. button. Machine-embroidered Fallshirmjager right breast and a machine-embroedered F'jager badge attached to left side front of the tunic. Narrowing devices to both sleeves. Blue-grey twill fabric lining with two interior brest pockets and a lower right wound pocket, all with their black plastic buttons and cloth loops. Left interior breast pocket has "RLB" ink stamp plus other faint ink stampings. Some areas of moth grazing/damage, mainly to the left sleeve, but does not really detract. Still a nice looking tunic. Grade II-. $2000

5451 GERM WW2 RARE PANZER - GRENADIERS M-1944 FIELD BLOUSE. A scarce example in the late war course earth brown "Russia yarn." Six button front. Single unpleated breast pocket to the L/H/S. The RHS never having a pocket due to the war economy issues. Typical zigzag stitching under the collar and detachable matching epaulettes piped apple green rayon for Panzer - Grenadiers. M43 universal bevo woven collar litzens and M43 style subdued breast eagle. Good period repair to the R/H sleeve. Partial rayon lining with internal pockets all ink markings now completely washed out. The "Russia Yarn" was made from combining capturned Russian yarn with existing German stocks. This tunic, while showing lots of wear and battle character, has no mothing or any major damage other than from service wear. The M-44 Tunic is rarely seen on the market it was the last model of German tunic produced and never issued in large quantities. Grade II- $1500

5452 GERM WW2 Medical Oberfeldwebel's Parade Tunic for Sanitats Battalion 30. Field grey woollen tunic, the front closure piped in cornflower blue with eight silvered pebbled aluminium buttons. 2 Pairs of hooks and eyes for front neck closureand provision for attachment of the internal collar. Dark green collar with silver NCO tresse, standard issue collar tabs with woven silver double litzens on a corn - flower blue piping. Dark green shoulderboards with two different styles of non-standard NCO silver tressen. Silver metal pip and silvered aluminium medical insignia to each. Both shoulderboards with cornflower blue piping. Silver machine woven breast eagle on dark green backing to right breast. EK2 and War Merit Cross with swords two place ribbon bar to left breast with loops below for one award. Dark green Brandenburg cuffs with two silver aluminium pebbled buttons to each along with silver NCO tresse. Cornflower blue cuff patches & piping. Pleated rear skirt with 6 pebbled buttons to each along with Silver alum. buttons and cornflower blue piping. Grey interior rayon lining with waist adjusting straps and striped cotton material to the inside of the sleeves. Ink stamp to interior lining. "Geprift Sanitats Abteilung 30" This tunic is featured in the new publication "Waffenrock Parade Uniforms of the German Army" by LTC. (Ret) Timothy J. Curley and Neil G. Stewart. See Pages 214 and 217. A very well kept tunic in nearly mint condition. Grade II+. $2250

5453 GERM WW2 WAR TIME CONVERSION OF AN ARMY WAFFENROCK INTO AN M36 TUNIC. Eight pebbled aluminium buttons to the front closure. Two pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps and two lower patch pockets with scalloped flaps, each flap with a pebbled aluminium button closure. All pebbled buttons have a field grey painted finish. Silver bullion breast eagle showing light wear. Sew in shoulder straps for rank of unteroffizier, dark green with aluminium tress, field grey underlay and bright green piping for gebirgsjaer (mountain troops). Dark green woollen collar with an outer border of aluminium tress and M36 collar patches with gebirgsjager branch centre stripes. Gebirgsjager cloth edelweiss insignia patch sewn to the upper left sleeve. Turned up cuffs to both sleeves. Rear vent scallops have been removed and the bright green piping to the front closure has also been removed (inner bright green sections still present). Grey rayon lining with left interior breast pocket and maker's label below the collar "S. Spiessl Garmishch-Partenkirchen". Armpit areas show wear with tears to the interior striped sleeve linings. A few moth nips to the tunic but not very noticeable. An excellent conversion has been accomplished on this tunic which has original loops for one award to the left breast pocket. Grade II- $2250

5454 GERM WW2 late war manufactured army M36 Judicial Branch tunic. A field grey woollen tunic with the normal five pebbled aluminium buttoned front closure. Two pleated breast pockets and two lower pleated pockets, all with scalloped flaps and a pebbled aluminium closure button to each flap. Each central pleat on the lower pockets has two parallel vertical lines of stitching visible which are absent on the uper pocket pleats. Silver bullion breast eagle now showing some wear. Loops for one award on the right breast pocket, ribbon bar loops above the left pocket and loops for three awards with the awards to the left pocket. Awards consisting of the War Merit Cross with Swords First Class, the 1933 DRA Sports Badge in bronze and and the Wound Badge in silver. Dark green collar with collar tabs of subdued aluminium litzen with central Judicial Branch maroon stripes, all on a dark green woollen backing. Shoulderboards for rank of Oberstleutnant with a subdued plaited aluminium braid, a gilt metal pip and sword device to each shoulderboard and maroon piping. The turned up cuffs and the lower body side sections of both sleeves are manufactured of a different weave of field grey material. Sections of the interior front closure also consists of a different coarse field grey woollen cloth. The interior rayon lining is two different shades of grey woollen surround added, possibly used as a wound pocket. Interior dagger hanger also present. Couple of light stain marks to the rear exterior of the tunic, period repair above the left pockets with wear to the top of the pocket flap, a very small hole to the pocket and another below. This is a very appealing tunic with lots of character and a good example of late war manufacture using different woollen weaves due to war shortages. Grade II- $2250

5455 GERM WW2 RARE LUFTWAFFE UNTEROFFIZIER'S FLIEGERBLUSE FOR AIR SIGNAL BATTALION OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE LUFTWAFFE. (Goring's own signal battalion). Blue-grey woollen tunic with 5 black plastic buttons to the concealed front closure which also has the award ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd class. Two slanted hip pockets with a silvered pebbled aluminium button to each flap. Machine-woven 2nd pattern breast eagle. Standard pattern Luftwaffe machine embroidered spec patch for Kraftfahr Personal (motor vehicle driver) sewn to lower left sleeve. The collar has light brown twisted piping to the outer border with an inner border of aluminium tresse and light brown collar tabs with a single W/M gull device to each one. Sewn in blue-grey woolen shoulder straps with light brown piping, alumininium open ended tresse for rank of unteroffizier and chain stitched "OL" for Air Signal Battalion, C in C of the Luftwaffe. Has provision for waistline belt for loop ramps. The interior has partial, grey cotton twill lining with two interior breast pockets and a lower wound pocket. Ink stampings to the left interior breast pocket with a chest size of 90cm. A very well kept tunic with no moth damage. In excellent condition. Grade II+ $2800
