5456 GERM WW2 CHOICE LUFTWAFFE SENIOR NCO'S FOUR POCKET SERVICE TUNIC. Fine quality tricot meterial with alum pebbled buttons. Rank of Oberfeldwebel with two pips to the epaulettes and four alum gulls to the collar tabs. Yellow waffenfabre for flight section on collar tabs, epaulettes and twisted braid around the collar. Extra fine quality hand embroidered 2nd pattern breast eagle. Nice early hand embroidered cuff title "Geschwader Hindenburg." This NCO was well awarded with award loops for ribbon bar and a flight clasp. Four awards on the left breast pocket and on the side for Spanish cross or German Cross in Gold. Black silk like lining with striped tailors lining to the sleeves. Only a couple of very minor areas of mothing to the front near the buttons, not that noticeable. Certainly one of the best Luftwaffe tunics we have offered. Grade II $2500

5457 ITALY WW2 OFFICERS FIELD GREY FOUR POCKET SD TUNIC. Rank of 1st Lt on cuffs. Collar tabs with WM star indicate an Infantry Unit. Has plastic buttons and single place ribbon bar. O/a only light service wear. Grade II. $500

5458 JAPAN WW2 TYPE 3 COTTON DRILL TUNIC. 5 large dark brown plastic/bakelite buttons up front with 2 light tan collared buttons on pockets. Medium size and dated 1943. Nice printed stamp inside tunic. Light use only. No insignia. Grade II- $275

5459 NZ POST 1911-WW1-MILITIA OFFICERS TUNIC OF THE NEW ZEALAND ARTILLERY. Fine khaki serge, made by 'T W Sutton, Vincent Auckland' (tag but damaged). Has brass 'New Zealand Forces' Artillery buttons, bz collar badge pair: 'NZA' brass titles 'NZA' rank crowns gilt & pips bronze for Lt Colonel. Also has press studs on chest for ribbon bar (missing), has waist belt, missing on breast & one pocket button. Some mothing on sleeves o/w a nice example. Grade II- $400

Staff sergent rank to both sleeves Unit shoulder patched for US Army Air Force and China, Burma, India theatre. Meritorious service unit badge to cuff. Also service stripe and overseas service bars. 5476 AUST WW2 1940 DATED WRAAF TUNIC. Belonged to Beth Shepard. In good condition, no mothing, holes or stains. Although cotton lining has some damage. All buttons intact and has ingignia for Corpral as well as two overseas service chevrons. A good looking tunic. Grade II- $145

5477 FRANCE INDO-CHINA WAR PARA JUMP SMOCK CAMOUFLAGE. All pockets with multiple press studs (1 missing/damaged). Reputedely brought back from South Vietnam by Lt Col JJ Burrows of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam. Scarce item. Grade II- $100

5478 GB WW2 BROWN LEATHER JERKIN. Label worn off. 1 button broken. O/a service wear and scuffing. Grade III+ $125

5479 GERM WW2 LUFTWAFFE FLIGHT JERKIN. Black leather "wrap" style jacket. Double breasted with concealed buttons (replaced). Detachable type rank epaulettes for flight section "Unteroffizer". These tacked on to jacket with cotton and buttoned at top. "Assmann" marked alum. Pin back breast eagle. Partial lining with size marking, faint makers mark, 1944 dated and what looks to be the word "kiel". Possibly was a navel/u-boat jacket converted to Luftwaffe use. An interesting item that displays well. Grade II $2800

5483 US WW2 91st BOMB GROUP USSAF OFFICERS B-3 FLYING JACKET. An extremely rare attributed example with painted unit insignia. Brown fleece lined jacket with two front pockets and zip front. Official USAAF issue with Army Air force issue stamp. Hand painted coloured USAAF shoulder patch to L/H shoulder. Large hand painted unit insignia on L/H breast featuring a large B-17 Flying Fortress over the 8th Army Force unit insignia with "91st Bomb Group"? and "32nd Bomber Squadron"? (hard to read accurately). Above this another rectangular name patch bearing a hand painted pair of pilots wings and the name "MAJ. L Murphy USAAF". O/A fantastic condition with no damage or tears and an operational zip. Minor scuffing or wear to the insignia but expected and minimal. The centre piece of an aviation collection. Grade II- $2250

5486 GERM WW2 Luftwaffe E/M's Greatcoat. Standard pattern blue / grey wool. D/Breasted with two rows of 6 W/M pebbled buttons. French cuffs and side slash pockets with external flaps. Enlisted mens sew in shoulder straps with light brown piping for signals. Also has collar tabs for Signals Flieger. Standard blue/grey drill lining with Size markings Dated 1939. O/A a lovely example with no moth or damage. Grade II+. $950

5491 AUST WW2 RAN UNIFORM SHIRT (RATINGS) AND 2 X BIBS, Tropical shore-going uniform pattern. Named in stencil to 'A E H Gattrell' on shirt. Served as STO II on HMAS Lonsdale. Also served with the Army (14th Bn) before the RAN. O/a age rust stain o/w Grade II- $125

5492 AUST WW2 SHIRT GREEN COTTON TWILL (Military green) collarless. Half button-up front type (pullover) front pockets with flaps. Sadly, epaulettes have been removed by the wearer. 3 tags are evident in the collar one with "ABN2" other with the word "shaded". This shirt would have a wonderful impact on a WW2 pacific uniform display. Grade II- $150

5493 AUST WW2 SHIRT JUNGLE GREEN (PULLOVER TYPE) LIGHT COTTON MATERIAL. Tag present but very faded. Just visible in direct sunlight is "N224 size 15 1/2 1942". Epaullets are present and nearly all buttons (missing one). An extremely hard to find item in this condition. Essential for the pacific war collector. Grade II- $350

5494 AUST VIETNAM WAR PIXIE SHIRT JUNGLE GREEN WITH SLANTED FRONT POCKET (like a pixies ears) and small pockets on the upper arm area. Made by 'Glenside Pty Ltd SA' In 1970 size 35/37 short. So only a small-medium size. Pixie shirts have always been desireable within the Australian Army during this period as they were more comfortable. All buttons present and post Vietnam name tag. (One sleeve has white rating patch gun barrel with an "L" and star above in blue cotton) collar has no blue border but the lower part of the sleeves and the shirt tail have a blue border/edge. Medium weight cotton manufacture and marketed by "Vic Truman and Co Sydney." Now an off-white colour with age. Grade II- $125

5514 AUST WW2 TROUSERS JUNGLE GREEN HBT. (Herring bone twill) made by Factory V170 in 1944. Wearer has removed the front map pocket and the rear large pocket. (Unpicked stitching). Large size approx 38" and for Male 6' tall. Very hard to find in any condition, these are in sound service used condition lightly faded but all buttons are intact, tag intact. Grade II- $260

5515 AUST WW2 KHAKI DRILL SHORTS. New, unissued with shelf tag. Large size 38", 1942 made at factory Q61 button-up front with metal slider tab for better fitting to sides. These would be great for re-enactors or display on mannequin. Grade II+ $75

(Brig Arnott is mentioned in an article that took place in Stockton Bight invloving the 15th NRL) details included. Period lancer collar badges are affixed to the jacket. Period rank affixed to 'sewn-in' style epaulettes. Impressive set of mess dress to brigadier. Grade II- $375
