5367 PORTUGAL POST WWI PICKELHAUBE STYLE LEATHER HELMET. Royal National Guard with brass and whitemetal fittings. Spike has had a minor internal repair. Large brass helmet plate with wreath and colours/flags on 6 staffs (2 missing the spike on top). Whitemetal shield over red and green felt background. Two star devices with "NCR" cypher (in whitemetal on brass) to the sides. Usual crazing/cracking to patent leather style dome. A very unusual and striking conversation piece for the pickelhaube/hat collector. Size about 58. Brown 9 finger leather liner. Grade II- $895*

5369 AUST WW2 RAN SOLAR HELMET. White belancoed canvas covered cork. Good clean example. Has brown leather chinstrap. Melbourne maker. Crack to brim at front but only shows underside. Grade II- $175

5370 US WW2 USML TROPICAL FIBRE SOLAR HELMET. Khaki cotton covered with Oxy brass USML screw back hat badge. No chin- strap but has basic liner. Grade II- $160

5372 AUST WW2 RAFF OFFICERS S/D TUNIC AND TROUSERS. Blue winter s/d tunic with all black K/C Bakerlite buttons. Cuff rank for group captain. K/C emb. padded pilots wings, 8 place ribbon bar for WW2 Africa, Pacific, OBE and air efficiency Small moth hole to r/h cuff o/w a very nice tunic with s/d belt. Waist about 87cm. C/w matching s/d trousers again about 87cm. These with some heavy mothing in area below the fly. Appears to be a nice talored uniform. Not named. Grade II-. $475

5373 AUST WW2 AIF ANTI-AIRCRAFT ARTILLERY TUNIC AND SLOUCH HAT. Army O/R's Winter S/D tunic. 1942 dated. Has all oxy AMF buttons, Rising Sun collar badges and "Australia" titles. Colour patches for A:A Artillery AIF. C/W whistle lanyard. Lovely condition. Has a couple of very small moth nips to the back. C/W a very nice 1941 dated slouch hat, fur felt. Militia wool style single band puggaree with anti-aircraft colour patch. Hook & eye side. Has oxy Rising Sun badge. Missing chinstrap. Brown leather sweatband nicely marked "Union Hall Mills 6 7/8 1941. Areas of light moth grazing to underside of brim. (Not detracting at all). O/A a nice display lot. Grade II $850

5374 AUST Pre WW1 TUNIC AND CAP FORMELY BELONGING TO Brigadier General William Martin, Launceston Rifle Regiment. Pre- federation Mess Dress tunic of fine earthern brown khaki wool with rifle green facings and epaulettes with silver bullion K/C and pip rank. Named to "Lt.Col W Martin on the inside collar. 1900-1912 W/M collar badges of the 12th Aust. infantry Regt. Pre-fed QVC Stirling Silver button bearing the VR Cypher. Brown silk lining. Some light moth grazing to lapel and some mothing to the back of one cuff. A rare early Pre- Fed example. C/1900-1912 senior infantry officers visor cap. Brown khaki wool body with rifle green cap band. Brown leather chinstrap with W/M AMF side buttons black leather peak with single gilt bullion band. 1900-1912 W/M rising sun cap badge. Silk lined and brown leather sweatband named to Lt. Colonel W Martin. Heavily mothed on top and to the back of the cap band and one side at bottom where the peak starts. When placed on a display head the mothing is not so apparent. Born in 1856 Brigadier William Martin was first appointed as second lieutenant Tasmanian Volunteer Rifle Regiment (92nd Launceston Regt) July 1879. Captain Tasmanian regt. 5th March 1903, Colonel July 1903. ADC Govenor General Censor October 1916. To retired list October 1919. Brought to notice by the Minister of defence for specially meritorious services rendered in Australia in connection with the war. Grade II- $3800*

5375 AUST VIETNAM WAR SUMMER STYLE S/D UNIFORM. Tunic 1963 dated and approx chest size 100cm. Trousers are 1995 dated poly pants. Size 85R. Tunic has full colonel rank and red collar gorgets. Five place post 1975 ribbon bar and A/A staff Corps buttons. Grade II- $95

5376 AUST C/1930-42 Patrol blues tunic for Australian signals corps, rank of captain and peaked cap. High collar tunic with period brass collar badges and gilt and enamel bath stars. Period 3 place ribbon bar for WW1 trio. Gilt brass A.C.M.F buttons. Five bullion overseas service chevrons to right sleeve. Dark blue/white colour patches to both upper shoulder areas. 4th signal troop, Australian engineers. Approx size is 95cm chest. There are a couple of small holes in the sleeve area (rear armpit area). The officers peaked cap is red cloth lined with "MTX" and size '7' stamped. Short leather peak with 30-42 signals corp hat badge. White & blue external cap band. 4 small moth holes are evident on the top of the cap. Nice medium size WW1- WW2 period Sam Browne belt complete this nice period uniform. Grade II- $450

5377 AUST 1950'S/60'S BATTLE DRESS UNIFORM (TUNIC & TROUSERS). Major Walker (believed to be an officer commanding) of the 10 Light Horse Regiment, Royal Australian Armoured Corps (WA) early 1960's style cut and buttons. Yellow background shoulder titles and yellow background major rank. 1 small moth nip to rear of collar. Grade II- $85

5378 AUST VIETNAM WAR SUMMER STYLE SERVICE DRESS UNIFORM. Tunic 1963 dated and approx size is 100cm chest. Trousers are 1995 dated poly pants in size 85R (34 inches). Tunic has full colonel rank with red tabs to collars. 5 positions medal bar. (OAM, ASM 45-75, DFSM, National medal and Vietnamese Government medal). Staff corps buttons. $95

5379 AUST WW2 RAN UNIFORM WHITE DRILL 702 WITH LIEUTENANT COMANDERS SHOULDER EPAULETTES. (Gilt now a little tarnished /dark). 5 x buttons up front with high colour. White drill construction has discoloured to a yellow tinge on some areas of the tunic and trousers. Tailored by "Myers of Melbourne and Adelaide." Shoulder boards by "Gieves, London." Brass Q/C buttons by Stokes & Sons Melbourne. Medium size. Grade II $275

5380 AUST WW2 ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY UNIFORM LOT consisting of Naval rating cap (very well worn and of softer manufactuer) blue bottom surround, top has a lot of small rust stains- lightly visible, trouseer, fall front, white, canvas, 7oz. (Now off-white colour with the usual small rust stains) tailors tag in rear of trousers "H.Schiess, campsie size 15". Tunic/seamans flannel type shirt again in heavy duty white canvas, 7oz, made by "MTZ" and size 22 (medium/large) (Also off-white colour with age), collar, seamans blue jean complete uniform with named area of the recepient. Grade II- $450

5381 AUST WW2- ROYAL AUST NAVY. Seamans uniform consists of: blue wool serge jumper, in good conditio with some mothing to front. No insignia, but a metal bar with two ribbons for a 1935-45 star and a pacific star. No tags, size small- medium. White flannel vest to be worn under jumper has off- white colouring due to age and some faded stains. One end of each tie is not attached. Square rig blue jean collar, in good condition, bule wool fall front trouser, in good condition with slight mothing to front and back. All buttons intact, but no tags. Blue and white seamans hat, size 7, no tags or makers marks. H.M.A.S rushcutter ribbon. Hard to find as a set. Grade II- $195

5382 AUST WW2 SIGNIFICANT UNIFORM LOT ATTRIBUTED TO "CLOAK AND DAGGER" CATALINA PILOT SQN LEADER THOMAS HERBERT KELLOCK. Kellock flew missions on operations with No.628 squadron (special duties) out of bases in ceylon and India. Printed stories from "As you were" and "RAAF Saga 1944" give mention of Kellock work. The lot consists of his service dress tunic and trousers, sidecap and universal kit bag. Tunic has nice worsted and padded UK made pair of Pilot's Wings. Tunic made by MTX. (Few minor moth nips); trousers with size addition to rear and thrifty small repairs to front fly area; RAAF sidecap is complete as worn with officers soaring eagle badge and small sterling silver "catalina" pin badge. Dark blue RAAF kit bag with service numbers. Very worthy of further research! Comes with limited reaserch and photocopy of service photography. Grade II- $1000

5383 FINLAND WW2 JUNIOR INFANTRY OFFICER'S M36 FOUR POCKET FIELD GREY WOOLEN TUNIC AND JODPHURS. Six brass buttons to the front closure all with the finnish national emblem. Two pleated breast pockets and two lower plain pockets, all with shallow scalloped flaps and brass finnish buttons. Green collar tabs with machine woven light grey borders and rank insignia. Sewn in grey woollen shoulder straps with green piping, a brass finnish button to eache one. There is a small blue woollen shield shaped insignia, sewn to the upper left sleeve. Wear to the left cuff area. Provision for belt ramps to the waistline of the tunic. Greyish- brown rayon lining with areas of wear and one repair patch. Ink stampings to the inside of the left breast. Field-grey woollen jodphurs with two front slit pockets and two rear pockets with buttond scalloped flaps. (one plastic button broken). Has a flap arrangement for the front fly with three plastic buttons to either side of the flap. Partial black rayon/cotton lining. Grade II- $550

5384 FRANCE WW2 COLONIAL FORCES NCO'S UNIFORM. Khaki Cotton four pocket Tunic with brass colonial buttons and gilt bullion Emb on black detachable collar Badges (Insignia of the Colonial Forces). Khaki Drill Trousers, (Jodphers), Black Kepi with burnt red piping, black leather peak and chin- strap with colonial gilt Anchor Badge and side buttons. Brown leather belt with rolling D/Claw buckle, brown leather leggings and a small brown leather rectangular shaped instrument or map case (missing securing strap). These forces largely made up of Vichy Forces in the Mediteranian during WW2 including actions against Australians in Syria. Grade II- $1500

5385 FRANCE WWI ORIGINAL ARTILLERY OFFICER'S 1915 HORIZON BLUE WOOLEN FOUR POCKET TUNIC. Seven blackened, domed, artillery brass buttons to the front closure. Two pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps and two lower plain hip pockets with straight edged flaps. Plain horizon blue shoulder straps, each pocket flap and shoulder strap has a brass button the same as the front closure, all buttons have varying degrees of wear to the black finish. Above the French cuff on each sleeve are two gold bullion Lieutentant's rank stripes. The collar patches are both missing. The brownish-grey patterned silk like material badly worn in the neck area and partially unstitched at the lower right front. A small hole to each corner of the front pockets. Has steel belt hooks attached but no belt. C/W matching horizon blue woolen trousers which have a dark blue stripe to the outside of each leg. Grey plastic to the fly and also to the outer waistline for attachment of braces. One pocket to the right front. Waistline has been taken in. Ink stampings to the inside of the waistline. "United costumes inc manufactures" labels to the inside of the tunic and trousers as they were used post WWI by a film company. The trousers are in VCG. Grade II- trousers Grade II $850

5386 GB WW2 ENGINEER OFFICERS WINTER SD TUNIC AND TROUSERS. Khaki wool with brass 'GVIR' cypher buttons. Officers bz flaming bomb collar badges and gilt & en. rank pips for Lieutenant. Has 3 place ribbon bar for 1939-45 Star, Africa (8th Army) & Italy Star. C/w SD Belt. Has mothing to left lapel and minor to rev. Waist about Size 82cm. Matching trousers & with some o/a moth. Both tunic & trousers named & dated to '2/LT D C MacBride'. '19/8/41'. Grade II- $250

Full dress rank eqaulettes (Q/C. bullion stars and W/M sword and bation). Provision for medals and two brast stars. C/W gilt auguilette. Named to R.H. Wright and dated. C/W matching overall trousers. 5389 ITALY 1930-WW2 FEMALE FASCIST YOUTH (GIL) UNIFORM. White cotton blouse, with plastic GIL members badge. Woven No '11' collar disks. C/w black skirt and black bonnet/silk beret. Extremely scarce item. Grade II- $450

5390 JAPAN C/1930-40s ARMY WARRANT OFFICERS FULL DRESS UNIFORM, Cap & medals, tunic & trousers have yellow facings & piping for Artillery, gilt chrysanthemum buttons & bullion collar, Dress peak cap (Kepi) with full feather plume, this & the hat still in box of issue, 4 x medals - Order of the Rising Sun 8th Class, 1914-20 War Medal, China Incident War medal 1937 & Red Cross members medal Wartime, with rosette, all in cases of issue but these with wear/scuffing. Also a pair of WO Dres sbullion epaulettes in steel case of issue, minor o/a wear & moth nips to uniform, a very nice display item. $1800

5391 STH AFRICAN WW2 Ariforce Pilot's S/O Uniform and Peaked Cap. Khaki Green four pocket Tunic with all K/C Brass RAF Buttons. Rank of Lieutenant. Opposing K/C Collar badges. K/C Embroidered South African Pilots wings. Unfortunately a very large hole to the R/H Breast pocket which could be repaired by using a piece from the inside of the Tunic. C/W a lovely example of the Officer's Khaki S/A Peaked Cap. With S/A Gilt Side Buttons, Leather Chinstrap and K/C Gilt Hat Badge. No Moth or damage. O/A a scarce uniform and set of wings. Grade II-. $850

5392 US WW2 UNIFORM GROUP: Consists of Olive Green Tunic dated 1940 By. Benjamin Clothing Co. Complete with all brass buttons and Air Force HQ Shoulder Patch. Size 38 in Chest, short fitting; Trousers 1942 dated with a number of small moth holes. O/G, O/R's Peaked Cap with brass US Cap Badge. Hat has approx 15 small moth nips. The rest of the hat is in great condition. Size 6 7/8 and 'styled By. Lewis'. Also included is a hand knitted olive green neck scarf A light buff coloured neck tie, A O/G Garrison Cap (size 6 7/8) and 2 small moth holes to rear. As well there are two more shoulder patches. A well used one of "The 5th Air Force" and another "Air Force HQ, Washington". All comes complete in a small leatherette suitcase from the same serviceman. A number of spare large brass buttons are included (Greatcoat type?) collar insignia is for chemical branch of service. Interesting Uniform lot. Grade II- $650

5393 US PRE WW1 ARMY OFFICER'S FULL DRESS FROCK FOR 3rd CAVALRY. Dark blue d/breasted frock with two peice gilt buttons. High closing yellow piped collar for cavalry edged in gold bullion band and "Australian" knot to cuffs with brass "3" over crossed swords badge. Gold bullion twisted shoulder boards, has attached gold bullion aiguillette. Named inside to "Lt L.W.McIntosh, April 18th/10" C/w blue riding breeches with yellow side strip. These about 68cm in waist. O/a Grade II-. $750*

5394 US c/WW1 ARNY EM's LIGHTWEIGHT O/D COTTON DRILL S/D TUNIC & MATCHING BREECHES. Four pocket tunic with high closing collar. Has all oxy, buttons, "US" and infantry collar disk Waist about size 82cm. breeches with one small repair. Very light, service wear only. Grade II. $575

5395 US WW2 ARMY AIRFORCE OFFICERS SERVICE DRESS TUNIC. Dark elastique (Winter). Has gilt buttons, "US" and Airforce collar badges. Rank of Lieutenant & shoulder patch for 8th Army Airforce. Also has "Sterling" marked silver Pilot's Wings. Comes with matching tie, service dress belt and "Pinks" trousers, made in Texas by Military Tailor. Waist size about 84cm. Otherwise a nice clean Uniform. Grade II. $685

5396 US WW2 AMERICAN RED CROSS OFFICER'S SERVICE DRESS UNIFORM. Winter olive drab four pocket standard Army Officer's uniform dated 1942. Has black plastic American Red Cross buttons, brass "ARC" collar badges and brass & En. Red Cross distinctive insignia collar badges. Also has four silver bullion overseas service bars to left hand cuff. Size 38R. Comes with service dress belt. Matching trousers and side cap with "Military Welfare" brass & En. Red Cross Cap Badge. A nice well presented uniform in lovely condition. Unusual. Grade II. $695

5397 US MODERN LOT CONSISTING OF SWAT STYLE UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT Lot consists of desert (Gulf War 2 type) camouflage uniform trousers size medium-regular, jacket style shirt, size large-reg, boots black with web calf inserts (one has a small 2cm hold in upper nylon/cordura black duty/equipment vest with numerous pouch pocket for a multitude of items (comes with angle head torch) black nylon balaclava, black pasgt helmet (plastic, styled on Kevlar) with black dust goggles, black kneepads x 2, pr of green/grey nomex flightcrew gloves (medium) black thigh holster for medium size s/auto pistol. A SWAT tag is velcroed onto the vest and a "SWAT-LA Police" patch is fixed to the shirt/jacket sleeve. Grade II- $350*

5398 AUST WW2 SCARCE AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS OFFICER'S WINTER SERVICE DRESS TUNIC. Tailored Army Officer's Tunic with Oxy Sust. Red Cross Buttons, Officers Oxy & En. Collar Badges. Y.M.C.A. Rank Bands on epaulettes (red band with single gold bullion stripe). YMCA style "Australian" woven titles (red on khaki) sewn on shoulders. Miniature double diamond colour patches for "North Australian Observer Unit". Has press studs for attaching ribbon band. Not named. Comes with service dress belt. Waist size about 82cm. Interestingly the collar badges and clutch grip reverse and are lapel badge size. Grade II $650

5399 AUST WW2 ARMY OFFICER'S WINTER SERVICE DRESS TUNIC. Four pocket with all AMF oxy buttons, Rising Sun Collars, titles and rank pips for Lieutenant. Two bar overseas service Cheveron and colour patches for AAOC 1st Aust. Corps. Comes with service dress belt. Named to VX82871 W.Nealy. Quite a few moth holes (small) to reverse that would not detract from a display. William Charles Nealy enlisted 27-7-1942. Disch. 27-3-1946. Last posting 2/4 Aust Armed Regt. Ord. FD. Park. 5400 AUST WWI 6th Light Horse Regiment Officer's winter S/D tunic. A lovely tailored four pocket tunic in a thick whipcord khaki wool. Has all oxy AMF buttons, nice large ones to front. The collar having a closing/securing strap under one lapel. Has WW1 type large oxy rank pips for Lieutenant, (Has been Captain at one stage (?)). Has "Australia" titles but has a tailored provision for either the "LH" type titles or the "Australia" ones. Original opposing colour patches sewn to both shoulders, now with a little fading and both with an original brass "A" indicating previous service at Gallipoli. Fully lined interior with money pocket. Not named or attributed. No moth or damage. Comes with officer's dark brown leather Sam Brown belt with double cross strap. 1917 dated pistol case and matching sword frog. A very rare and sought after tunic. Miss this one and you may never get another. $6500

5401 AUST WW1 HQ. 1st Australian Division Warrant Officer's Service Dress Tunic. Tailor made by "Johnnie Morgan. Melbourne" Light Weight Khaki Material with pressed leather buttons. Four pockets, stand and fall collar with Hook & Eye closure. K/C Brass rank badge for Warrant Officer 2nd Class to R/H/Cuff. Four bar overseas service chevron to R/H Cuff including red bar for 1914. Has Rising Sun collar badges and shoulder titles. Matching colour patches. Not named or dated. Some fading to Shoulder Areas where someone has displayed the tunic with Patt 08 Webbing. This does not detract at all from this scarce and desirable tunic. $6500

5402 AUST WW2 'AWAS' TUNIC, (AUSTRALIAN WOMENS ARMY SERVICE) rank of Corporal on right sleeve 'AWAS' titles, Rising Sun collar badges, Aust buttons, colour patches of the HQ 7th Aust Division, 1943 dated. Made in Sydney, has belt, a very nice tunic. Grade II+ $350

5406 AUST c1930-42 Militia Warrant Officer's Winter S/D Tunic. Early khaki whipcord material (usually found on Officer's tunics). Four pocket warrant officer pattern with closing neck. AMF Oxy (Worn) buttons, missing bottom one. Rising Sun Collar badges. No titles nor ever had. Has K/C oxy rank badge sewn to R/H Sleeve (replaced). Tailor made but no label. Shows lots of wear, soiling around collar and a few field repairs (one large one to the top R/H pocket). Colour patches removed. A hard to find pattern. Grade II-. $325
