Anonymous The post by Na...ous(can't u have a small nick name) is from ARTEE site under that heading. PSA should also join ARTEE in this so that things will be better for us too. But there is another problem for us trexs. Technicians(5000) & EAs(6500) pay scale are merged in this PC. Hence EAs pay scale will be enhanced to 7500/- as per PC's recommendations. But trexs have no one below them. So the same recommendation cannot apply to us. The pay parity order we got long back should work for us as the conditions remain the same.

T Rex Yes , Anonymous , as everybody knows we cannot keep on blaming other cadres for our faults .But the fear of being gobbled up and displaced makes many a programme personnel go on an overdrive to keep the flame of programmes burning or even pleasing the dte.Why cant we programme people unite and see eye to eye and call black BLACK and white WHITE and get done with issues one and for all? ganesh All kinds of court orders are there against us because of incompetence/complicity of the directorate, old PSA which are being flaunted by the government/directorate/our detractors to scuttle whatever good that may come our way. So it has become a judicial necessity to nullify all those court orders. After that we can settle through negotiations from a position of strength. Now we are on a weak ground.

Anonymous With the number of cases against us and the type of money power our detractors have 500/- is a small amount. If for example there are 4000 prog persons it comes to just 20 lakhs while one appearance fee at SC for a lawer may come to easily 1 lakh and more! We should be prepared for all cases against us getting vacated only in SC. Just think of this contribution as a fine for those years we were blind to the atrocities happening around us. All these days we were doing our duty without expecting results thinking that they will come automatically. But now only we know it is not 'duty first right next', but 'right first duty next' language that directorate understands. But first person to be taught about this is the prog head at any station. And also we should remember if we are watchful and fight for our rights nepotism, favoritism, out of turn promotions, lucrative assignments to select few, etc will not happen in future.

Wow Some member are demanding recruitment of Trexs but our association never showed a resentment to booking of retired programmers as casual Trexs while Artee never bowed/agreed to such steps of the prasar bharti while our promotional and prospectus are marred by total stoppage to recruitment. PSWA filed a RTI asking how much Prasar Bharati is spending on the booking of casual Trexs all over India deptt..never gave a reply but roughly it is said it amounts to a huge Rs.500 lakhs @Rs2-3 lakhs per staion per annum-PSA AND EVERYBODY MUST DO AN INTROSPECTION ON IT BECAUSE IT HAS CARCINOGENIC EFFECT ON OUR CADRE .THESE ARE TRUE WORDS WHICH WILL PIERCE INTO THE HEARTS OF MANY BUT EVENTUALLY THIS HAS HAMPERED OUR GROWTH BADLY AND DISGRACEFULLY MUST THINK OVER IT HOW MANY TREXS CAN BE RECRUITED ON THE BUDGET OF 500 LAKHS PER ANNUM????????

Name Anonymous ACP for Subordinate Engineering Cadres :- Status We have been fighting for the implementation of ACP scheme for our cadres, which were rejected repeatedly by the authorities including DOP&T. ultimately we were compelled to file a case in Hon'ble CAT Kolkata which we won. Thereafter department has appealed in the Hon'ble High Court of Kolkata. Meanwhile, after repeated discussions with various officials including CEO, Prasar Bharati, department has forwarded a proposal, to extend the benefit of ACP to subordinate engineering cadres, to the Ministry of I&B. this is the first time the o/o DG, AIR & Prasar Bharati has agreed with our demand of ACP. No Final order have been issued till date.We have been vigorously following up the issue with Ministry.

ganesh wow even if we assume all the casual trexs get full month contract it will come to Rs 1.1 lac approximately. For 600 lac more than 500 casual trexs can be booked. That should take care of half the shortfall in trexs sanctioned strength. In my station a few retired people are booked that too not for the full month. If it is common all over India then for 600 lac more than 1000 trexs can be booked if we assume half month booking as average. This means in real terms the CC trexs have filled up the shortfall in our sanctioned strength in full! But the ground reality doesn't show that. At my station we are still short by 25 trexs! Please correct me if my maths is wrong.

Wow Ganesh ji my maths is also weak otherwise i would have been inspector of income tax etc. My station is booking 3 retired prog officials and its r.c station not a bigger town and spent Rs.2,70,000/- yesteryear on these casual trexs and I think bigger stations are spending a big amount and there are around 200 air stations who may probably book casual trexs,by the way you are aGenious fellow why we are after calculation or short term gains of saving our selves from shifts while not forseeing our bleak future due to this move INTROSPECTION IS REQUIRED?

ganesh Hey wow you are doing ok in maths, I am at Chennai, a big station on paper. Here too only 3 are booked and I don't think our station spends as much as you. Even the three CC trexs are given duty as per their convenience. So no question of short term gain for us. But I am fully with you in respect of recruitment and go so far in saying that no one else but a regular prog staff should do prog staff related work. And in case CCs are to be booked it should be only as an exception. The problem is exception, adhoc, reversion are the rule here.

Wow Thats the problem we firstly accepted this stop gap arrangement of booking casual Trexs because we showed no resentment rather PSA published the circular on the first page of the b'vision now repenting and repenting ....no new recruitments?

Wow Yes Ganesh ji the acp is not beneficial this time as commissions approved reco says that employee will get next scale not as per hierarchial scale e.g a trex will get a GP OF 4600 and not 4800 he will get 4800 during promotion thats why artee is trying to upgrade EAs to 4600 from 1.1.06

Name-avro trex's should take their salary with a protest as i was going through the 6th pay commission report and found that in most of the dept the 6500 scale has been merged with 7450 or 7500 and here too there is a genuine case . go through the 6th pay comm report published by swami.
