Duties: The Human Resource Consultant is accountable to the Manager, Employee Relations for the provision of a diverse range of human resource management functions. This includes the provision of advisory and consultancy services to all occupational groups regarding employee relations issues including redeployment, government separation schemes, performance counselling, disciplinary matters and grievances.




Special Conditions: This is a temporary full time position available from 31 October 2005 to 1 May 2006, or until the substantive incumbent resumes duties, whichever occurs sooner. Some out of hours work may be required.

Duties: The Business Consultant is responsible for coordinating the business and financial planning within the divisions and for the provision of expert and timely resource management information, advice and support to ensure that business objectives are met. The Business Consultant significantly contributes to the effective and efficient functioning of the service and provides leadership, professional support and supervision to administrative staff within the divisions.




Essential Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting or business management and/or extensive financial management experience in a Health Unit operating with decentralised management principles.




Special Conditions: The position is based at Lyell McEwin Hospital, however the incumbent may be required to work at other sites of Central North Adelaide Health Service.
