Duties: The Administrative Officer is accountable to the Client Services Officer for a wide range of administrative and financial functions of the Riverland Regional Health Service Inc at the Barmera Campus. The Administrative Officer is responsible for the supervision of administrative staff in the administration department at Barmera. The incumbent works with limited supervision and is expected to work in a courteous manner, display politeness and express genuine willingness to assist residents, patients and clients with any difficulties.




Special Conditions: 75 hours per fortnight. This is a temporary position up to 11/5/2006. Some out of hours may be required. A current SA Drivers Licence is essential. May be required to work at any location in the Riverland region. The incumbent will be required to participate in quality activities and an annual performance appraisal. Initial appointment will be to RRHSI Barmera Campus but the appointee may be transferred to any other location to perform work of a similar nature appropriate to the classification either on a temporary or permanent basis.

Duties: As a member of the Regional Aboriginal Health Team (RAHT), the Community Nutrition Worker will promote the health and wellbeing of the community by providing responsive primary health care services, programs and activities, which are based on social justice and a social view of health whilst working in collaboration with the Aboriginal communities and relevant organisations within government and other sectors. This will be achieved through the identification of nutrition needs and issues, development and implementation of a variety of community based projects, the provision of individual nutrition counselling, health promotion and community development projects, and the training and development of staff, agencies and community members. The Community Nutrition Worker will be required to respond to organisational requests for professional supervision of other community nutrition workers and will provide professional advice and consultancy to management, other staff and/or other agencies. The position will require contributing to the development and implementation of mechanisms for consultation with the Aboriginal community about Enfield Community Health Services and other services to enhance accountability to the community and to support and extend services

Must possess a current driver's licence and be willing to drive. Required to work from any location within the Central Northern Adelaide Community Health Service.
