Special Conditions: This is a part time position working 60 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked, hours are negotiable. Part time temporary position of up to 3 years , based at the Quorn Health Services Inc. The position serves the respective communities and surrounding districts of Quorn, Hawker and Leigh Creek. This initiative is fully funded by CANDO4KIDS and will run simultaneously with Department’s newly piloted group intervention program for children with APD. Duties: The Pharmacist is responsible to the Senior Pharmacist, Dispensing Services, for the provision of a comprehensive, efficient and complex range of professional, dispensing and counselling services for all inpatients and out patients attending the Centre as an individual or a member of a team. Duties: The Manual Handling Consultant is responsible to the Team Leader Clinical Services Unit for the provision of high quality Manual Handling services to all Metropolitan Domiciliary Care staff, clients and carers. The incumbent provides consultancy, complex clinical assessment and intervention, and operates as a resource person, contributing to the prevention of manual handling incidents and injuries across the various portfolios of Metropolitan Domiciliary Care. The Manual Handling Consultant is often required to work across multiple sites and undertakes referrals working independently. The incumbent is also responsible for provision of manual handling services to external customers through the Manual Handling Australia business unit. The Manual Handling Consultant provides leadership and clinical support regarding manual handling, acting as a consultant to other staff. The incumbent will participate in project work as required and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the agency's services.




Essential Minimum Qualifications: A degree or other qualification which gives eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist or which entitles registration as a Physiotherapist.




Amended Special Conditions: This position is now amended to temporary up to 31/03/06. This is a part time position working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. Current SA drivers licence essential. Some intra and interstate travel may be required. Some out of hours work may be required. Must be prepared to work in and/or relocate to any Metropolitan Domiciliary Care site. Must be prepared to undertake an assessment of physical capacity. Manutention Trainer accreditation in Aged Care, Patient Handling and Loads as stipulated by the Australian Association of Manutention Practitioners is required to perform external training for Manual Handling Australia. Initially appointed to this position, but may be required to work within any area of the service. Will be required to participate in the performance management review process. This position will be located at Elizabeth and Park Holme.

Special Conditions: The position is full time and is contracted for three years, generally working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm, however some flexibility of working hours is required. Time off In Lieu arrangements is available and will be negotiated as required. Whilst this position is based in Mid West Health, there may be a requirement for the employee to work across the Eyre Region from time to time. Some intrastate travel is required which may necessitate overnight absences from home. A current driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
