Duties: The Senior Project Officer is accountable to the Director Quality through the Manager Training Packages for contributing to meeting departmental objectives by coordinating the South Australian input into the development, review and implementation of national training packages; providing advice on a range of branch functions which supports Quality Branch policy development and department objectives; undertaking projects within broadly defined guidelines to support the Departments policies and directions; Contributing to the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within the Branch.




Special Conditions: Some out of hours work may be required. Some intra/interstate travel may be required.

Duties: The HR Consultant is accountable to the Senior HR Consultant for the provision of an advisory and consultancy service on a range of human resource issues including personnel management policies, practices and procedures such as discipline and grievance and promotion appeals, recruitment and selection, organisation, classification and establishment matters, career development and provision of statistics which results in the equitable and consistent development of human resource practices for SAPOL. The HR Consultant will also be required to manage the current redeployment practices and principles for SAPOL employees. This includes the development, implementation and review of systems and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of redeployment.




Special Conditions: Some intra state travel and overnight absences may be required from time to time. Must be prepared to undergo Prior Offender History Check by the South Australia Police Department.

Duties: The Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure is seeking the services of a highly motivated person to undertake the position of Senior Contracts Administrator. The successful applicant will be accountable for coordinating, undertaking, participating and assisting in a range of project activities, including managing a range of corporate contracts and service level agreements (related to multi agency services) with suppliers and external service providers. The successful applicant will need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills providing an expert consultancy service to Agency and external stakeholders on a range of issues including the preparation of discussion papers and reports. The Senior Contracts Administrator will play a pivotal role in researching and analysing information and data relating to the management of ongoing contracts.

Duties: The Systems Support Officer – Salinity achieves improved management of the River Murray by coordinating the development and management of systems and procedures for the ongoing monitoring and reporting on salinity and water trade, and using these systems and procedures to prepare reports for the Murray Darling Basin Commission on the implementation of the Basin Salinity Management Strategy, South Australia’s position on the salinity registers and related River Murray management issues. The Systems Support Officer will also ensure that systems and procedures are developed and maintained to support implementation of South Australia’s water resource allocation policies, within the requirements of the Murray Darling Basin Agreement.The Systems Support Officer will work in partnership with DWLBC, the Natural Resource Management Board for the SA Murray Darling Basin, community groups, and other agencies to facilitate the documenting and reporting of salinity impacts of irrigation development, impacts of irrigation community salinity management actions, South Australia’s salinity accountability to the Murray Darling Basin Commission as outlined in the Basin Salinity Management Strategy (Schedule C) and related MDBC reporting requirements.




Special Conditions: Some out of hours work and intrastate and interstate travel may be required. A current driver’s licence is essential. The position will be offered as a two year contract, but continuing employment is subject to annual funding approval.
