Anatuluvia Passage
|
Name of coconut shell cup. Used by the Ancestral Woman Wainega.

Awanogamwana Island
|

Brooker – from an old European in the area, a Mr Brooks. Also, called Utian Island. Utian- the movement of a digging stick. Nowadays this name is not used due to the custom of renaming places/things if they have a similar name to the deceased. Also called Nogini, a corruption of New Guinea.
