Microsoft Forecaster 7.0 Migration Path Volume Licensing customers who meet the criteria below are eligible for complimentary Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 licenses as described below:
These terms apply unless conversion terms are otherwise stated in a previous agreement. The right to access licensed software under the complimentary Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 licenses is in place of access rights under the qualifying license. Customers’ right to use Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their corresponding qualifying licenses. A customer’s access of licensed software under the complimentary Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 licenses is subject to the terms and conditions of the customer’s Microsoft volume license agreement and the product use rights for Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007. The right to use Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 expires upon expiration of the right to use the corresponding qualifying license. Complimentary Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 CAL For each Microsoft ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.3 license a customer acquires, it will be deemed to have one Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 Device CAL. Customers with active Software Assurance for their ProClarity Desktop Professional license will be deemed to have Software Assurance for their complimentary Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 CAL. Such coverage will expire when the corresponding ProClarity Desktop Professional coverage expires. Customers’ right to access Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their corresponding license for ProClarity Desktop Professional. A customer’s right to access Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server under this grant is subject to the terms and conditions of its volume licensing agreement and the product use rights for Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server. That right expires upon the expiration or termination of the right to use Proclarity Desktop Professional 6.3 under the corresponding qualifying license. Migration path for Office Business Scorecard Manager 2005 and ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 customers enrolled in upgrade protection Customers with Office Business Scorecard Manager (BSM) 2005 and ProClarity Analytics Server (PAS) 6.3 licenses enrolled in upgrade protection coverage (Upgrade Advantage/Software Assurance/Enterprise Agreement (UA/SA/EA)) as of November 1, 2007 are eligible for Office PerformancePoint Server (PPS) 2007 licenses as follows: For each qualifying BSM 2005 or PAS 6.3 license, the customer will be deemed to have:

Customers’ right to use and access PPS 2007 software is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their corresponding licenses and Software Assurance for BSM 2005 or PAS 6.3. A customer’s right to use PPS 2007 software under this grant is subject to the terms and conditions of its volume licensing agreement and the product use rights for PPS 2007. That right expires upon the expiration or termination of the right to use BSM 2005 or PAS 6.3, respectively, under the corresponding qualifying BSM 2005 and PAS 6.3 licenses. Exceptional Downgrade Right for Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 Customers licensing Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server (PPS) 2007 may use Office Business Scorecard Manager (BSM) 2005 and ProClarity Analytics Server (PAS) 6.3 in addition to licensed copies of PPS 2007 on a limited basis as follows. For each PPS 2007 software, CAL or External Connector (EC) license acquired, customers may use the corresponding software, CAL or EC for both BSM 2005 and PAS 6.3 for the same device/user that the PPS license is assigned to. Exceptional downgrade rights for BSM CAL and PAS CAL are only valid for the user or device to which the original CAL was assigned. BSM and PAS server software may be deployed on separate physical or virtual servers.
Customers’ right to use PAS and BSM is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their corresponding PPS 2007 licenses. A customer’s right to use BSM and PAS expires upon the expiration or termination of their right to use PPS 2007 under their qualifying PPS 2007 licenses. Use of BSM and PAS is subject to the terms and conditions of a customer’s license agreement and the product use rights for BSM 2005 and PAS 6.3. Management Reporter for Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 SA Customers Customers with active Software Assurance on Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 as of or after February 1, 2008 are granted the right to use Office PerformancePoint 2007 Management Reporter as additional software for that product. Their use of the software is subject to the product use rights for Office PerformancePoint Server 2007. This right expires upon expiration of the qualifying Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 license. Customers with Software Assurance coverage for SharePoint Server 2007 may be eligible to run PerformancePoint Server 2007 in connection with that coverage (see the SharePoint Server 2007 endnotes for details). This additional right to use Management Reporter is not valid for PerformancePoint Server 2007 run under that offering. |
