67 SharePoint™ Server 2007 for Internet SitesAs a convenience to our customers, the software media for this product includes Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 installation software. Windows SharePoint Services is a component of Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003 R2. Customers’ use of Windows SharePoint Services is governed by the license terms for their licensed copies of Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003 R2. Migration path for PerformancePoint Server 2007 and Forms Server 2007 For Internet Sites Volume Licensing customers who meet the criteria below are eligible to upgrade the qualifying licenses to Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites licenses as described below:
This offer is also valid for customers whose PerformancePoint Server 2007 external connector licenses were obtained as the result of a migration from another product, as long as the customer has active SA for those licenses as of April 1, 2009. Customers may run and access any later version of SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites made available during the term of their qualifying Software Assurance coverage for PerformancePoint Server 2007 External Connector and Forms Server 2007 for Internet Sites software, respectively. Customers’ right to use and access SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites (or any later version) software is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their corresponding qualifying licenses and Software Assurance (or equivalent coverage) for the qualifying licenses. The right to use and access Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites (or any later version) under this offer is in place of the right to access and use software under the qualifying license. A customer’s right to use SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites software (or any later version) under this grant is subject to the terms and conditions of its volume licensing agreement and the product use rights for that software. That right expires upon the expiration or termination of the right to access software under the qualifying licenses. Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 for Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites SA Customers Customers with active Software Assurance coverage for their Office SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites license as of or after April 1, 2009 are granted the additional right to use and access Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 software. For each qualifying SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites license, the customer may run and access an instance of PerformancePoint Server 2007 on the SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites licensed server. The customer may run either or both SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites and PerformancePoint Server 2007 under this grant. If the customer wishes to run SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites and Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 on separate devices, the customer will need to acquire an additional SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites license. The customer’s use of the software is subject to the product use rights for Office SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites. This right expires upon expiration of the qualifying Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites license. Downgrade Rights for Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites Customers licensed for Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites may use and access an equal number of copies of the following software in place of licensed copies of Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites:
A customer’s right to use Forms Server 2007 For Internet Sites expires upon the expiration or termination of their right to use Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites under their qualifying Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites licenses. Use of Forms Server 2007 For Internet Sites is subject to the terms and conditions of a customer’s license agreement and the product use rights for Office SharePoint Server 2007 For Internet Sites. Exceptional Downgrade Rights for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for Internet Sites. Customers licensing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 for Internet Sites may use either Content Management Server 2002 Enterprise Edition or SharePoint Portal Server 2003 in place of MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites on a limited basis as follows. Content Management Server 2002 Enterprise Edition (CMS) For each MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites license acquired, customers may use CMS either on one server on up to two processors or on two servers on one processor each. Customers may deploy CMS only into their existing extranet/internet environments. Customers may not deploy CMS in an intranet environment. A customer’s right to use CMS expires upon the expiration or termination of their right to use MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites under their qualifying MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites licenses. Use of CMS is subject to these terms, the terms and conditions of a customer’s license agreement and the product use rights for CMS. SharePoint Portal Server 2003 External Connector (SPS) For each MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites license acquired, customers may use two SPS External Connectors. This downgrade right permits access to separately licensed copies of the software; it does not provide the right to use the underlying SPS Server software. A customer’s right to use SPS External Connectors expires upon the expiration or termination of their right to use MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites under their qualifying MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites licenses. Use of SPS is subject to these terms, the terms and conditions of a customer’s license agreement and the product use rights for SPS. | |||||||||||||
