53 Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live EditionA customer’s use of Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live Edition will be subject to the terms and conditions of its license agreement and the Identity Integration Server 2003 – Windows Live Edition product use rights.
As a one-time exception in connection with the discontinuation of Identity Integration Server 2003 – Windows Live Edition, we are granting Select, Enterprise, Open License Open Value, and Campus and School customers with active Software Assurance for Identity Integration Server 2003 – Windows Live Edition as of April 30, 2007 the following Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live Edition licenses at no additional charge, other than the media costs (if applicable):
The right to use Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live Edition under this offering is in place of the right to use Identity Integration Server 2003 – Windows Live Edition. Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live Edition licenses granted under this offer will include Software Assurance coverage. That coverage will expire when the corresponding Identity Integration Server 2003 – Windows Live Edition coverage expires. Upon expiration of that coverage, customers may renew their Software Assurance on the Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live Edition license.
A customer’s use of Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live Edition under this offer will be subject to the terms and conditions of its license agreement and the Identify Integration Server 2003 – Windows Live Edition product use rights. The right to use Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 – Windows Live Edition expires when the corresponding Identity Integration Server 2003 – Windows Live Edition license expires. All access codes are delivered up front, and may be activated at any time prior to expiration of the customer’s enrollment. Access codes expire 12 months after user activation. Access codes that are not activated expire upon expiration of the customer’s enrollment. Please refer to Appendix 3 for online services pricing and payment terms. 58 Learning Solutions Technical E-Learning Library (User SL) and Learning Solutions eReference Technical E-Reference Combo (User SL)Please refer to Appendix 3 for online services pricing and payment terms. 59 Learning Solutions MCP 1 Exam Vouchers/Month (Services SL)All vouchers are delivered up front, and may be used any time prior to expiration of the customer’s enrollment. Please refer to Appendix 3 for online services pricing and payment terms. 60 Office Communications Online Standard (User SL)Customers may view the Exchange Online Standard service level agreement (SLA) for this online service by visiting http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=140815 Office Communications Online requires the separate purchase and installation of Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2. As a limited time offer, Office Communications Online customers receive one licensed copy of Office Communicator 2007 R2 at no cost with each trial or paid subscription license to Office Communications Online. The software may only be used with Office Communications Online, and all rights to use the software will terminate upon expiration of the underlying subscription license or release of the next major new version of Office Communications Online, whichever comes first. 61 Office Communications Server 2007 Standard and Enterprise EditionOffice Communicator 2007 grant for Live Communications Server 2005 customers enrolled in upgrade protection Unlike its predecessor, Live Communications Server (LCS) 2005, Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 does not include the right to install Office Communicator on devices for which CALs are obtained. However, for each LCS 2005 CAL or Enterprise CAL Suite with active Software Assurance coverage as of September 1, 2007, customers will be granted one Office Communicator 2007 license. The right to use Communicator under that license expires upon expiration of the corresponding CAL. Use of Communicator under this offering is subject to the customers’ license agreement and the product use rights for that product. If Software Assurance coverage on the corresponding CAL is maintained continuously (i.e., renewed with no lapse in coverage), and one later version of Office Communicator (i.e., N+1, where N=Office Communicator 2007) is made available prior to the expiration of that coverage, customers’ license will be for that version instead. Customers are eligible to acquire Software Assurance coverage for that Office Communicator license, provided that coverage is acquired prior to the earlier expiration of coverage of the corresponding OCS 2007 Standard CAL, or at the end of the enrollment during which the N+1 version of Communicator is made available. Customers who wish to acquire Software Assurance coverage for Office Communicator after that date must first acquire a new license for the version of Office Communicator that is current at the time coverage is acquired. Customers’ right to use Office Communicator 2007 software is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their corresponding licenses and Software Assurance for LCS 2005 and OCS 2007. Customers’ right to use OCS 2007 software is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their corresponding licenses and Software Assurance for LCS 2005. A customer’s right to use OCS 2007 software under this grant is subject to the terms and conditions of its volume licensing agreement. That right expires upon the expiration or termination of the right to use LCS 2005 under the corresponding qualifying LCS 2005 licenses. Upon expiration of SA coverage on the LCS licenses, the customer may renew SA for OCS Standard and OCS Enterprise. LCS 2005 licenses acquired after September 1, 2007 as part of a customer’s annual true-up process for Enterprise Enrollments under which licenses for LCS 2005 were first acquired prior to September 1, 2007 are also eligible for OCS licenses under this offer. Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and Office Communicator R2 License Grant for Parlano Customers Volume Licensing customers who meet the criteria below are eligible for complimentary Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and Office Communicator 2007 R2 licenses as described below:
These terms apply unless conversion terms are otherwise stated in a previous agreement. A customer’s access and use of licensed software under the complimentary OCS and Office Communicator licenses is subject to the terms and conditions of the customer’s Microsoft volume license agreement and the product use rights for OCS 2007 R2 and Office Communicator R2. In lieu of the version licensed under OCS and Office Communicator licenses, customers may use an earlier version of the software. Customers may enroll their OCS and Office Communicator licenses into SA by July 1, 2009. Migration path for Microsoft Speech Server 2004 and 2004 R2 Standard Edition customers enrolled in upgrade protection Customers with Microsoft Speech Server 2004 or 2004 R2 Standard Edition Licenses enrolled in upgrade protection coverage (Upgrade Advantage/Software Assurance/Enterprise Agreement (UA/SA/EA)) as of January 1, 2008 are eligible for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Standard Edition and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 External Connector licenses as follows. Exceptional Downgrade Right for Office Communications Server 2007 Customers licensing Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 may use Speech Server 2004 R2 in place of licensed copies of OCS 2007 on a limited basis as follows. For each combination of one OCS 2007 Standard Edition Server, one OCS 2007 Standard External Connector and one OCS 2007 Enterprise External Connector, customers may run Speech Server 2004 R2 Standard Edition on one processor. For each combination of one OCS 2007 Enterprise Edition Server, one OCS 2007 Standard External Connector and one OCS 2007 Enterprise External Connector, customers may run Speech Server 2004 R2 Enterprise Edition on one processor. In place of those versions, customers may use an earlier version of Speech Server. Customers’ right to use Speech Server is evidenced by this product condition note and evidence of their qualifying OCS 2007 licenses. A customer’s right to use Speech Server expires upon the expiration or termination of their right to use OCS 2007 under their qualifying OCS 2007 licenses. Use of Speech Server is subject to the terms and conditions of a customer’s license agreement and the product use rights for Speech Server 2004 R2. |
