Visitation will be 4 until 7 o’clock Friday, November 25, 2011, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 o’clock Saturday, November 26, 2011, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. He was preceded in death byhis parents William Leonard and Grace Englett Holley along with his brother William Junior Holley. He is survived by his sister Carol (Cookie) Roberts and husband Wilson of Pulaski. Nieces, Tana Harris of Pulaski, Christie Horn of Athens, and Misty Mitchell of Elkton. James Horne was born in Orange County, N. C. , Jan. 4, 1813, came with his parents to Tennessee when only three years old; was reared near Campbellsville, Giles County; served in the Florida War; married Sarah A. Baker of Giles August 22, 1837; was left a widower with three sons and two daughters June 12, 1848; married Susan Barnes ofGiles, Jan. 17, 1858; died of rheumatism April 5, 1886, at his home near Bodenham, Giles County, Tenn., aged 72 years, ten months and 1 day; left a son and daughter by his first marriage, four sons and four daughters by his second marriage, his second companion, a widowed sister, many

relatives and friends to mourn their loss. His funeral sermon was preached April 6, from Num: 23:10. His remains await the first resurrection in the cemetery at old Mt. Moriah.
