The GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Charlotte is offering a one-time scholarship to an outstanding senior. Scholarship must be used at a state-supported university. Applicants must be in top 25% of class rank and U.S. citizen. Applicants are judged on: scholastic record, intellectual promise, demonstration of ambition, leadership ability, and need for financial assistance. If recipient wins at the state level ($6000/year for four years), recipient agrees not to accept any other scholarships of greater value or other grants through his/her high school while holding a GFWC-NC scholarship.

Sarah Scott Schofield was one of the founding members of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
