CITY OF HOLDFAST BAY



Roads (Opening and Closing) Act 1991

NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with section 10 of the Roads (Opening and Closing) Act 1991, the City of Holdfast Bay proposes to make a Road Process Order to close the following road:

In the Hundred of Noarlunga, being an irregularly-shaped strip of public road at the western end of the Seaview Avenue, Kingston Park situate dividing allotment 1 in Filed Plan 10543 from allotment 68 in Filed Plan 146502 and marked ‘A’ on Preliminary Plan No. PP32/0531.

It is proposed that the portion of road to be closed marked ‘A’ be retained by City of Holdfast Bay for drainage purposes subject to an easement in favour of South Australian Water Corporation.

A preliminary plan of the proposal, and a statement, are available for public inspection at the Holdfast Bay Council Office, 24 Jetty Road, Brighton between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4.45 p.m., Monday to Friday or at the Adelaide office of the Surveyor-General during normal office hours.

Any person may object to the proposal and any adjoining landowner or other person substantially affected by the proposed road closure may apply for an easement relative to the closure. Such objection or application for an easement must be made in writing to the City of Holdfast Bay within 28 days of the date of this notice.

If a submission is made, the City of Holdfast Bay is required to give notice of the time and place at which a meeting will be held to consider the matter, so that the person making the submission, or a representative, may attend to support the submission, if desired. Any submission must set out the full name and address of the person making the submission, and must be fully supported by reasons and any application for the grant of an easement must give full particulars of the nature and location of the easement and, where made by a person as the owner of adjoining or nearby land, specify the land to which the easement is to be annexed. A copy of the submission must be forwarded to the Surveyor-General at Adelaide.

NOTICE is hereby given that the council of the Corporation of the City of Unley at its meeting held on 13 December 1999, passed the following resolution:

That pursuant to the powers contained in section 359 of the Local Government Act 1934, as amended and section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, vehicles generally be excluded from the following streets so as to facilitate the Stage 4 start of the Tour Down Under race:

• King William Road between Arthur Street and Park/Mitchell Streets on Thursday, 20 January 2000, between 7 p.m. and midnight;

• King William Road between Arthur Street and Park/Mitchell Streets (including the Park/Mitchell Street/King William Road intersection) on Friday, 21 January 2000, between 7.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. (buses excepted 7.30 a.m.-9 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.-1.30 p.m.);

• King William Road at the junction of Northgate Street on Friday, 21 January 2000, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. (buses excepted);

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of council held on 13 December 1999, it was resolved that pursuant to section 359 of the Local Government Act 1999, North Terrace between allotments 103 and 109 in the Mount Mary township will be closed to all traffic except emergency service vehicles and vehicles authorised by the Mount Mary Hotel from 10 a.m. on Saturday, 22 January 2000, until 10 a.m. on Sunday, 23 January 2000, for the purpose of entertainment at the Mount Mary Hotel.

Roads (Opening and Closing) Act 1991

NOTICE is hereby given that the public road marked ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’ and ‘F’, on Preliminary Plan No. PP32/0536 is to be closed. The closed road is to be merged with sections 236, 238, 243, 244, 250 and 251, Hundred of Bagot.

The closed road is to be transferred to Yookamurra Sanctuary Pty Ltd.

The preliminary plan and associated statements prepared pursuant to section 9 of the Roads (Opening and Closing) Act 1991 are available for examination by the public at the office of the Mid-Murray Council, 49 Adelaide Road, Mannum, S.A. 5238 and at the Adelaide office of the Surveyor-General, during normal office hours.

Any person who wishes to object to this proposal may lodge a written objection to the Mid-Murray Council, P.O.
