Repair of the Section of M01 Kyiv – Chernigiv – Novy Yarylovychi (Kyiv – Minsk) Road

Invitation for Pre-qualification

The State Road Agency of Ukraine, Ukravtodor (the Employer) intends applying the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] and the European Investment Bank toward the cost of Rehabilitation of the M01 Road.
The Employer intends prequalifying firms and joint ventures to tender for the following contracts to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:

 

- Repair of some 19 km of the road including roads, bridges, drainage and ancillary works. (Approximate chainage km 18+730 to km 37+000 of M01 road).



- Repair of some 25 km of the road including roads, bridges, drainage and ancillary works. (Approximate chainage km 37+000 to km 61+600 of M01 road).

- Repair of some 37 km of the road including roads, bridges, drainage and ancillary works. (Approximate chainage km 61+600 to km 98+000 M01 road).

 

The Works are situated to the north of Kiev and follow the line of the existing M01 Kyiv – Chernigiv – Novy Yarylovychi road, between the cities of Kyiv and Kipty village (Chernigiv region).


- Contract 1: The section km 18+730 – km 37+000 – bypass of Brovary town.

- Contract 2: The section km 37+000 – km 61 + 600 is situated between the end of Brovary bypass and the borderline between Kyiv and Chernigiv regions.

- Contract 3: The section km 61 + 600 – km 98+000 is situated between the borderline between Kyiv and Chernigiv regions and Kipty village.

 

Qualified Contractors will be invited for tendering for the abovementioned Contracts or any combination thereof. It is anticipated that the work will take some 1.5 years and the anticipated contract award date is February 2013.



 

Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country.

 

Prequalification documents may be obtained from the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 240 US Dollars (including VAT) or equivalent in a convertible currency payment (excluding charges for the bank transfer) being made to Ukrdorinvest.  Payment may be made by bank transfer or the like.  The prequalification documents will be despatched upon payment of the fee and an electronic copy in both English and Russian will be made available.  If requested, the documents will be promptly despatched by courier and, in addition, electronically via e-mail but no liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery. Applicants should note that electronic version of the prequalification documents will be issued solely to facilitate preparation of prequalification applications. In the event of any query or discrepancy of any kind the hard copy will govern.

Invitation for Bids

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh (the Borrower) has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Rehabilitation of yards and extension of loops at different station in Darshana-Ishurdi-Sirajganj Bazar section, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above.

The Bangladesh Railway (“the Employer”) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of extension, rehabilitation & reconstruction of 18 km (approx.) loop line at 8(eight) different stations in between Darshana-Ishurdi-Sirajganj Bazar section with new/second hand rails & steel sleepers; extension and rehabilitation of embankment where necessary; supply & installation of 40 nos Turnouts & 20 nos trap points and ballasting of Track (the Works”).

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

Cao Lanh Bridge and 200m Approach Road at Both Sides (from km 03 + 800 to km 06 + 200)

Invitation for Bids

The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam has applied for a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and a grant from the Government of Australia toward the cost of Viet Nam Central Mekong Delta Connectivity Project.


Ministry of Transport (hereinafter referred to as the “Employer”) intends to prequalify firms for the following contract under this Project:
Contract No. CW1B: Cao Lanh Bridge and 200m approach road at both sides (from km 03 + 800 to km 06 + 200)
The contract includes the construction of the Cao Lanh Bridge with the approach bridges crossing a branch of the Tien River. The total length of the bridge will be 2,015.8 meters. The Cao Lanh Cable-Stayed Bridge will have total length of 660 meters with main span 350 meters long. The total width of the superstructure in the cable-stayed bridge is 27.5 m and the approach bridges 24.5 m. The height of the towers measured from the annual mean water level is 123.4 m. Approach bridges on both sides of the cable-stayed bridge will be 677.9 m in length. The approach bridges comprise 17 spans Super-T 40 m superstructure on each side. The scope of this contract includes about 200 m of approach road on both sides of the bridge.
It is expected that the Invitation for Bids will be issued around December 2012.
