(Cleome serrulata) - native flower- must be cold/moist treated in refrigerator (2 - 4 weeks) before planting
Grass Pea - Lathyrus sativus Ag.Canada ’07, '08 2 oz - $1.00 4 oz - $2.00 8 oz - $4.00 1# - $8.00 this is an excellent green manure plant (nitrogen fixer) for gardens, and if let go to seed,
the gardener can save their own seed for future years, and also can eat it or use for a high protein animal
feed. (It improves nitrogen fixing if a bean/pea inoculant is used when planting. In fact, if you use inoculant on all of your bean or pea crops, your yield will be greatly improved. See FedCo for sourcing inoculant.) Plant at 3" spacing a 50' row = 200 seeds = 1.4 oz. 2000 seeds = 14 oz.
Notes: - - my small seed like carrot seed is not as clean as commercial seed, there may be some debris in it. It is fine for gardeners who sow by hand, not so good if you sow by machine.
Weight equivalents: 1/8 oz = 3.5 g 1 g = .035 oz
1/4 oz = 7 g 3 g = .106 oz
1/2 oz = 14.2 g 6 g = .212 oz
1 oz = 28.4 g 24 g = .851 oz
