Current Research
Biography Yao Wang was born in 1978 in Changzhi, Shanxi. He received his Bachelor degree in Department of Chemistry of Jilin University, China in 2000. He finished his doctoral study in the State Key Lab of Supramolecular Structures and Materials, College of Chemistry, Jilin University and received his Ph. D. degree on June 2005. During September 2005 to December 2006, he pursued his postdoctoral research work in the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, US. During 2007 to 2009, he worked as a Research Associate in Department of Chemistry, Lehigh University, US. Dr. Yao Wang joined School of Chemistry and Environment of Beihang University as an Associate Professor in 2010. His research interests include supramolecular assembled structures and materials, functional polymers, functional membranes and their application to gas separation, carbon dioxide (CO2) detection, capture, conversion and utilization and energy chemistry problems.
