Here’s another ‘deep thinker’ question. In 1885 Louis Riel was found guilty of Treason and was executed for these crimes. In 2001 Highway #11 in Saskatchewan was renamed the Louis Riel Trail in honour of Louis Riel. These are 2 very different views of the same man. One executes the man for crimes against his country and the other act honours him for what he did for his country. Why the 2 different views?? Think of the time periods and the events of each time period to assist you.
