on procurement of technical supervision service for the implementation of Marabda-Tetritskaro railway section rehabilitation, reconstruction and construction works

“Marabda-Kartsakhi Railway” LLC announces a tender on procurement of technical supervision service for the implementation of Marabda-Tetritskaro railway section rehabilitation, reconstruction and construction works and invites all interested legal entities and individuals from Georgia and foreign countries to participate in the tender.

Electronic version of detailed design of Marabda-Tetritskaro railway section rehabilitation, reconstruction and construction works; technical task of purchasable service; information about requirements of Tender Committee; list of documents to be submitted by candidates for participation in tender; place and date of their submission; information on evaluation criteria of candidates’ tender proposal; form and validity period of tender proposal; information on bank guarantees to be submitted; general terms of contract to be concluded with tender winner and other information is given as a tender documentation package in Georgian and Russian languages.

Herewith, the detailed design of Marabda-Tetritskaro railway section rehabilitation, reconstruction and construction works contains secret information indicated in clause 3.2.3 of “State secret reference list” approved by ordinance #42 of 21.01.1997 of the Georgian President.

Electronic version of the tender documentation will be handed out during the working days, from 10:00 to 17:00, from February 8, 2010 including March 1, 2010 on the following address: Tender Committee, 150 David Agmashenebeli Avenue, 6^th floor, room #606, Tbilisi, Georgia, 0112,

Full electronic version of the tender documentation will be handed out to candidates within above-mentioned period upon submission of bank receipt certifying payment of tender fee and permission to conduct activity related to state secret (form #4).

It is also possible to hand out the tender documentation to candidates in two parts:

- the part of tender documentation which does not include secret information, will be handed out upon submission of bank receipt certifying payment of tender fee;

- the part of tender documentation which includes secret information, will be handed out upon submission of permission to conduct activity related to state secret (form #4).

The permission to conduct activity related to state secret (form #4) is issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia according to the existing legislation.

Tender fee in the amount of 200 (two hundred) GEL shall be paid by candidates on the following account: “ International Bank of Azerbaijan –Georgia” JSC, bank code 220101912, account #3405000001 (GEL), recipient: “Marabda-Kartsakhi Railway” LLC, tax ID code 204522436. Tender fee (200 GEL) for “Marabda-Kartsakhi Railway” LLC must be indicated in bank payment order.

Tender proposal and documents determined by the tender documentation must be submitted by candidate during the working days from 10:00 till 17:00, from March 2, 2010 including March 4, 2010 on the following address: 150 David Agmashenebeli Avenue, 6^th floor, room #606, Tbilisi, Georgia, 0112.

Tender proposal of a candidate who delays to take out the tender documentation (including part of the tender documentation containing secret information) within the period determined in this announcement will not be accepted and considered by the tender committee.

Tender proposals submitted by candidates will be unsealed at 17:00 on March 4, 2010 on the above-mentioned address in room #618. Candidates have the right to attend the opening.

The procurement is regulated in accordance with existing legislation.
