Academic Calendar
The official academic year at Lund University (autumn + spring) is divided into two terms of 20 weeks each:
Autumn term: Sep 1 to Jan 18
Spring term: Jan 19 to June 7

Fees:
KIMEP Exchange Students will pay tuition fee min. for 3 courses to KIMEP prior to departure according to academic calendar as usually. KIMEP exchange students pay student fee to LUND University.
Travel, living expenses, visa and insurance are responsibility of the students!
Accommodation Fee and Estimated Living Costs per semester

Accommodation: €300 - 550 per month. Dormitory is provided.
Living expenses: €400 - 500 per month
Books: €800-1,000 per year
Public transport: €55 per month maximum

Round ticket: about US 1,200 dollars

Visa: about US 200 dollars

Insurance: about US 600 dollars per year

Total**: USD 8, 000 – 10 000 per semester.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES

KIMEP Application Procedure:
In order to apply for the exchange program to the Lund University, please ensure that you satisfy the requirements of the academic program and submit necessary completed documents to the International Relations Office in KIMEP:
Requirements:

Good English skills

At least one full year of undergraduate or one full semester of graduate study at KIMEP (with KIMEP background from entering the Master program)

Senior students are not eligible to apply

High GPA (at least 3.5)
