Board of Review Minutes of June 14, 2005
Present: Morris, Miller, Nawrocki, Fleming, Oman. Herrick 4:05p.m. Nawrocki made a motion to appoint Richard Morris chairperson of the board of review, second by Fleming. Motion carried. Fleming made a motion to appoint Richard Nawrocki as vice-chairperson, second by Morris. Motion carried. Nawrocki made a motion to appoint Susan Oman as board of review clerk, second by Fleming. Motion carried. Clerk Oman certified that all members of the Board of Review were current in their certification and she also sent certification to the State of Wisconsin. Clerk Oman verified she was in receipt of the assessment roll and had made all necessary corrections with the assessor after viewing the roll. Clerk stated the Board of Review will make deliberations at the end of the night and they will adjourn for the town board meeting at 7:00p.m.and reconvene at 8:00p.m. Clerk read first objection: Jones MRTT-0335-033 Miller made a motion to keep assessment the same, second by Nawrocki. Motion carried. Jeske MRTT 0364-974 Herrick made a motion to discount land at 25% instead of the 15% to 224,500, second by Miller. Nawrocki and Morris voted no. Motion was carried. Bruno MRTT 0365-011 Motion was made by Fleming to stay the same, second by Morris. Herrick voted no. Motion was carried. Wahlgren MRTT 0367-985-002 Motion was made by Fleming to stay the same, second by Miller. Motion carried. Wozniak MRTT 0356-997 Motion was made by Fleming to stay the same, second by Nawrocki. Motion carried. Page Three – BOR 061405Fronk MRTT0375-020Motion was made by Fleming to stay the same, second by Miller. Fleming, Morris, Nawrocki voted yes. Herrick and Miller voted no. Motion was carried. Korkor MRTT 0369-995-006 Motion was made by Nawrocki to reduce improvements to 724,700, second by Miller. Motion carried. Board of Review re-convened at 8:00p.m. Clerk read next objection. Lattos MRTT 0356-994 Motion was made by Herrick to stay the same, second by Fleming. Motion carried. Kingstad MRTT 0336-999-003 Motion was made by Herrick to stay the same, second by Fleming. Motion carried. Zelewski MRTT 0389-995-001 Motion was made by Nawrocki to stay the same, second by Fleming. Herrick voted no. Morris abstained. Motion carried. Godfrey MRTT 0407-999 Motion was made by Nawrocki to reduce improvements to 40,000, second by Miller. Fleming voted no. Motion was carried. Steinlage MRTT 0343-009 Morris made a motion to reduce improvements to 261,300, second by Miller. Nawrocki voted no. Motion carried. Waukesha County MRTT 0297-977 Fleming made a motion to reduce land to 10,000, second by Miller. Motion carried unanimous. Motion was made to adjourn the board of review by Fleming, second by Miller.
