Andy Furtado Dixon scored three goals and became the 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup's top scorer. The 28-year-old Costa Rican striker plays for Herediano, in the Primera Division de Costa Rica.



The KAA Gent-striker was considered as the best player for his team in the last season in the Belgium League, delivering great performances during the games and being the top scorer for the team.
The 23-year-old player has been linked with teams such as SC Heerenveen (NED), R.S.C. Anderlecht (BEL), Standard Liège (BEL), Club Brugge K.V. (BEL), Olympiacos F.C. (GRE), S.S.C. Napoli (ITA) and most recently Newcastle United F.C. (ENG).



Álvaro Saborío plays for FC Sion of Switzerland. Before joining Sion, the 26-year-old forward played for Deportivo Saprissa (CRC), having scored 109 goals along the way.
The goalkeeper Keylor Navas, the midfielders Celso Borges Mora, Walter Centeno and Armando Alonso Rodríguez, and the forward Alejandro Delgado play for the currently national champion team Deportivo Saprissa.
On 18 January, the Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK confirmed that Borges Mora had signed for them. His father is former Costa Rican and Deportivo Saprissa football player and coach, Alexandre Guimarães.



The 32-year-old Amado Guevara is the captain and all time caps leader of the Honduran National Team. So far, the attacking midfielder has scored 28 goals in 120 caps. He plays for Canadian Major League Soccer club Toronto FC.
Carlos Alberto Pavón is the team's all-time leader in goals scored with 49. The 35-year-old striker played 84 games. He plays for Real España (HON), and he has also played for Toluca (MEX), San Luis (MEX), Valladolid (SPA), Necaxa (MEX), Morelia (MEX), Udinese (ITA), Napoli (ITA), Cruz Azul (MEX) and Los Angeles Galaxy (USA).
The 31-year-old Iván Guerrero is a permanent resident of the United States. The midfield/defender began his career with Motagua (HON) and he moved to the England to play for Coventry City. In 2005 Guerrero joined MLS team Chicago Fire. Nowadays he plays for Colorado Rapids.
David Suazo currently plays for Benfica (POR), on loan from Internazionale (ITA) for the 2008/09 season. In 2007 he joined Italian club Inter Milan for €10 million. Before Suazo played for Cagliari (ITA) and scored 95 goals for Serie A team. He has 42 caps and 14 goals scored for Honduras.
The Honduran left-back scored his first goal for Wigan on 11 January 2009. He scored a close range header to secure a late winner against Tottenham Hotspur (ENG). Figueroa has played 58 matches with Honduras where he has converted 6 goals since 2003.
On January 21, 2009, the Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur announced that they had agreed a fee of £12 million for the 24-year-old midfield Wilson Palacios and that the player had agreed personal terms and passed his medical. The transfer could only be completed once he received a work permit.

The 23-year-old midfield Ramón Núñez was signed on loan for six months by Puebla of the Mexican First Division where he wears the number 10 jersey.
