PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION OPENING:

This November, Stacy Ellens, Lake City CRC’s current Administrative Assistant, will be leaving her position to care for their new baby. A Search Team has been formed and approved by the Administrative Council to begin the process of hiring a new Administrative Assistant. This position requires previous experience as an Administrative Assistant and prefers a candidate to be a member or to be willing to become a member of Lake City CRC. Interested persons should review the complete position description online at www.lakecitycrc.org via the “News” tab under “Position Openings”. Resumes should be submitted to Search Team Chairperson Jeremy Winkle at jwinkle@vandrie.com by Oct. 12.

STARTING POINT CLASS: Starting Point is a class we offer for people interested in becoming a member of Lake City CRC, learning more about becoming a believer in Jesus Christ, making profession of faith, or learning more about our church and our beliefs. The next class will be offered October 18 & 25 from

MOPS FAMILY PHOTO DAYS: Support Lake City Community MOPS, a ministry of Lake City CRC and get some FABULOUS professional quality photos of your family for a fabulous price! This event is this coming weekend, Sept. 25 -27 and will be held at 412 W. Euclid St. in McBain. Call Lacie Hejnal now to reserve your appointment time!
BACK PACKS FOR KIDS: Packing food bags for school children at risk of going hungry on weekends will begin Monday, Sept. 28 at 1:15. Join us downstairs across from the food pantry. To learn more, contact Jennifer Pugh.
WELCOME! Lake City CRC welcomes their newest staff members! Amy Jensema is our new Nursery Coordinator and you can contact her with questions about the nursery or with any scheduling conflicts with the nursery schedule. Carley Piotrowski is our new Children’s Ministries Director and you can contact her regarding any of our children’s programs for ages 2 ½-5th grade. We also want to express our appreciation and thanks to Jan Lydick for faithfully serving as our previous Children’s Ministries Director for 15 years!
HEY, NEW MOMS! Our Women’s Ministry Team has a “Meals for Moms” ministry as well as offers a baby shower for all first born babies in the church family. Our church is growing rapidly and we really don’t want to miss any new babies! Please help us out by notifying the church office when your baby is born. We will make the announcement to the congregation and get your meal train started. We truly love serving moms and families in this way so let us know when your bundle of joy arrives!

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
T.R.I.P. ORIENTATION: A fall orientation will take place @ Northern Michigan Christian School tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. This meeting is for any new family or individual who would like to participate in the T.R.I.P. program. The meeting takes about one hour and has a one-time $5.00 fee (due at orientation). You must have gone thru an orientation to participate in T.R.I.P.

Please call Skip @ 825-2492 ext. 113 or call Tash if this time does not work and we will work something out. But we encourage everyone to come to this meeting so you can start using T.R.I.P.


FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL: Come enjoy 5 different inflatables, outdoor games, carnival games, burgers, hot dogs, fresh cut fries, and much more at NMCS on October 2 from 5-8pm!
