”Ozard stands out in the crowd of singers. She is not only a great singer, but has magnetic appeal." - Lee Hartgrave, Beyondchron.com
Carly Ozard brings SHIFT HAPPENS to the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Ozard, originally from San Francisco, has just become a resident of New York City and muses on her findings about the differences between the City by the Bay and Big Apple. Performing songs by writers and performers as diverse as Cat Stevens, John Lennon, Lucy Sime, Bette Midler, Kander and Ebb, Alen Menken, Journey, and more, Carly’s trademark humorous perspective sheds light on the journey those people who follow their dreams take; whether it be their career, their search for love, or simply the journey to find themselves and a place to fit in. Carly attempts to find out if “the more things change the more they stay the same.
