Minimum graduate credit will be 30 credits including 6 credits for thesis. Students may select 8 courses, 24-credit hours, from the list below; it is allowed to select at most 3 courses, 9-credit hours, outside the Department but need the approval of the thesis adviser and the chairperson of the Department. Foreign students whose major are not Industrial Engineering or Industrial Management related need to take【IE335 Production Planning and Control】as the extra credits.
Thesis Proposal:
The graduate students should obtain the consent of a faculty member as the thesis advisor no later then the first month of the second semester, and finish the proposal before October 31 of the third term.
The committee member for proposal should include the adviser and one faculty member in the IEM department.
Thesis Defense:
The thesis final oral defense should be held no less than two months after the proposal.
