From the Director: Spring is around the corner. We are all very excited to see the trees start to bud, and the flowers start to bloom. I would like to welcome our new teacher Miss Kristen. She is very excited to work with all of you. Wednesday March 13th is our centers picture day. If you are not scheduled that day, please make every effort to be here for the group shot, I don’t want anyone to miss out. These pictures always come out precious. Bonnie does such great job with the children. We are going to be handing out our spring fundraiser this month. We decided to go with Zappa Snacks! All of our profits go to the center. So keep in mind when you are selling the more you sell the more items we receive for your child’s classroom. If there are any questions please let me know. Hope everyone has a great month!

PATRICKS DAY MARCH 20TH- FIRST DAY OF SPRING MARCH 31ST- EASTER SUNDAY Miss Ashley Nursery: Happy March! This month in the Nursery we will be learning “spots, dots and lines”. We will talk about spots, point to big and small dots around the room, find things that have dots, and look at straight and crooked lines. We will be creating a lot of fun lines and they will be hanging from the ceiling. The infants are going to love looking at the bright colors. We are going to be painting with green and lots of bright Easter colors! We are proud to announce that Hayden is eating Cereal now, she is getting so big so fast! We hope everyone has a great St. Patrick’s day and a Happy Easter! Miss Cami and Miss Amanda
Sierra will be turning 3 and Dominic will be turning 2 early this month. Happy birthday to both of you! This month the theme is “Nursery Rhymes”. Week 1 is “Wild and Wooly”. We will discuss how March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. We will be singing “Baa Baa Black Sheep”, and “Mary had a Little Lamb”. Week 2 is “Shamrock Showcase”. We will learn the song “The little Leprechaun”. Week 3 is “Looking for spring” The songs will be “Rain Rain go away” and “It's Raining, It’s pouring” Hopefully there will be some puddles we can play in. Finally the last week is “Tree-rific Spring”. We will be outside most of the time this week. We will be checking for Butterflies, and birds. We will also be growing our very own class of grass. March is full of exciting times. There will be so many fun new things for your child to experience. Miss Tanya& Miss Kristin 
Preschool: This month is going be packed full of fun!! The Preschool class is going to be traveling back in time to discover dinosaurs. Our curriculum is going to be “Dinosaur Dance”. “Dinosaur Galore” will be the first week. We are going to be learning about all the different kinds dinosaurs there were. And the water table is going to be a Dino-Dig site, I can’t wait till our friends see that! “Our Prehistoric friends” will be the 2nd week. The preschoolers are going to be making their own prehistoric friend. And we will be learning about St, Patrick’s day. Our St. Patrick’s Day party will be Friday March 15th. The 3rd week will be “If I were a Dinosaur…” The children will be inventing their own Dinosaur. Look for this cool creative art in the hallway. Our last week of March will be “Dinosaur Eggs” we will be having an Easter egg hunt. I am hoping that we can have the egg hunt outside on the playground, but if the weather is yucky then we will have it in our room. March 13th is our picture day. If you are not ordering pictures, please be here for the class picture. With the (hopefully) warmer weather, we will be spending more time outside. Please bring your child weather appropriate clothes. The worst thing about spring is the mud... But the children and I still love venturing outside. If you do not want your child’s shoes/clothes to get muddy send in an extra set. Please don’t forget to *sell* our fundraising items. We are hoping to get some new things to play with and use in the center with the profit we make. I hope everyone has a marvelous March! Miss Ashley |
