The UFCN Internal Communications Committee is charged with recommending ways that UFCN members can communicate, connect and/or collaborate with each other. Possible ways may include: email, discussion board, listservs, website, meetings, breakfast or luncheon, discussion groups (similar to the Editor's Forum and News Desk), seminars, best practices presentations and so on.  We need your help in trying to determine the preference and the need among the UFCN.  Please answer the questions below:

  • Do you use the myufl portal?

  • How do you want to network?

  • What types of tools and resources would make your job easier

  • Would you use a discussion board?

  • What do you want to talk to each other about?

  • Do you have a need to communicate with your fellow campus communicators?

  • How would you use a UF photo library?

  • Would you find a yearly retreat of campus communicators beneficial?

  • Would you find quarterly meetings of the UFCN helpful?

  • How would you change the Golden Gator Award program to be more effective?

  • What is your preferred method of connecting, collaborating and networking with your fellow UF communicators (may include above examples)?

  • What is missing from current communication methods?

  • What role should UFCN play in UF communications?

  • Should the Golden Gator Awards continue? Why or why not?

  • If they are continued, what changes do you think should be made?

  • Comments/Suggestions:
