c. Has already received a HES, TUSA, or a Taiwan scholarship, within the last two years

d. Is an exchange student to Taiwan, during the scholarship period

e. Is currently receiving financial benefits from the Taiwan government or educational institutions

Your application should include the following:

  Original copy of the application

  A photocopy of the first page of your passport
  
• 
  Two (2) sealed and signed references
  
• 
  An official sealed transcript from your school, and copy of diploma (if applicable)
  
• 
  A photocopy of the application to the school and language center program to which you are applying. It is not necessary that you have a certificate of enrollment from this center before you apply, but you must send a photocopy of your acceptance and a signed AMS Agreement to TECRO by June 30, 2014 if you are notified an accepted candidate.
  
• 
  Applicants who have taken or have registered for the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) will have higher acceptance priority than those who have not.
  
• 
  For TOCFL test information and a location nearest you, please check with one of our seven (7) Education Divisions (list) in the U.S. in your area. The TOCFL will be administered for applicants in the greater Washington, DC area in April, 2014. Please go to http://www.moetwdc.org for the latest update.
