The Hatmara-Merkava Retreat leads to the path of

self-awareness for finding the inner guide and connecting to the personal mission.

The purpose of the Retreat is Connection with Our True Self,

and to our LIFE ENERGY with our inner joy.

Experiencing and practicing being a transformer of light.

To be ourselves and connect to our guide, we need to be free from fears and obstacles which don't allow us to be what we are, and prevent us from doing our mission.

In the Retreat, we use the Hatmara method of transforming the blockages which are inhibiting us from being channels in the following areas:

Thereby opening the channel for connecting the guides.

At this Retreat, we give ourselves the gift of being able to listen to ourselves and be with our own energy by BEING IN SILENCE.

The silence allows us to be 'on vacation' from all daily-life influences and provides an opportunity to be with only our own process of being ourselves and to develop a consciousness of a global-wide awareness of life-energy –

During this NON-TALKING Retreat, everyone has the possibility and ability to connect to his own guides and his own mission, concentrating his own power by not talking with others, and by disconnection from the outside world of responsibilities to work, family, etc. It is far easier to connect the guides and the higher self when the mobile 'phone is disconnected!

It is expressly requested that all participants to commit fully to and respect the silence; this includes all areas , i.e. dining room, temple, bedrooms and

outside spaces.

This year, talking will be permitted on the 1^st day of the Retreat in preparation for transformation for the ability of having inner silence and a 'non-talking' experience, which will begin on the evening of the first day practice.

   Thereafter, during meetings and only as part of the practice, `1.talking will be permitted to facilitate the sharing of ideas, or questions arising, as a result of channeling experiences.
   

3. Talking in silence with oneself, singing, humming, whistling, laughing or smiling is allowed.

The practice will include Merkava Meditation, Universal Reparation (Tikun Olam)- Complementary Energy, other types of Meditation for developing the ability to connect to our own supreme guide and to our unique mission, Transformation (Hatmara) for all fears, habits, emotional states and thinking patterns which act as blockages to having life energy for connecting the light guides, Channeling Life Energy through the use of colures, singing, dancing, moving, inspired writing/painting, exchange of treatment for body and soul, Tibetan Sticks practice – for remaining in our center but at the same time connecting to all by being a channel of love and wisdom, Walking Meditation – connecting to our inner guideness by journeying in nature.

This year, we will have running concurrently a retreat for children, allowing all the family to practice 'life-energy' at the same time.

This is open for children aged 8 -15. (Those aged 15-16 or over may join the adult retreat practices.)

There will be a special HATMARA practice and other activities for children during the time when the adults are having their own practice. There will be common practice during mealtimes and in the evenings.

ALL ARE WELCOME – THE HATMARA-MERKAVA RETREAT IS OPEN TO EVERYONE, INCLUDING THOSE WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE OF THIS METHOD.

The retreat will be at the "karuna" center in Moncique

Begin Tuesday 19.4.2011 (full moon) at 20.00 Hr

Finish at 16.00 Hr 25.4.2011.

This is situated in the south of Portugal, in the middle of an eucalyptus forest, on the side of a mountain facing the Atlantic Ocean, with breathtaking views – on a clear day, miles of coastline can be seen. (In fact, the beach is just 15 kms away!) The mountain water springs of the area are famous for their healing properties.

Close to the center, there can also be found hot springs and waterfalls.

Meals are vegetarian, using local vegetables and the delicious local village bread.

The Center welcomes all who are interested in inner growth in a quiet environment, either in group or private retreats.

Rooms are for 3 – 4 persons. (Single rooms may be available depending on the number of persons attending.)

Daily Rate for bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner is 35€.
