In attendance: Ron Mangus, Stephane Tumlin, Jennifer King, Staci Kovacs, Shannon Berry, Sue Huber, Julie Issler, Mandy Bolte, Melissa Fette, Jodie Dawson, Melia Knauer, Meg Ringel
Meeting called to order at 6:30.
President- Stephane informed members of PTA that although meeting tonight fell on Monday night (due to scheduling conflict), meetings are 1^st Tuesday of each month.

Vice President Report- No report

Principal’s Report-

Track executive committee met.
Blacktopping of track will start tomorrow or Wednesday.
Mr. Mangus would like to have ribbon-cutting ceremony: 8/20 @ 9:15.
He would like to have students walk around entrance and have members of PTA talk about funding for track.
Mr. Mangus would like anyone who is in charge of a club to get building approval-fill out copy from Kathy in office.
PTA table- PTA members will distribute popsicles at Open House.
Open House: 8/14
4 sections of kindergarten; Mr. Mangus wants everyone to get word out about kindergarten registration.

Dance- Junior High will have dance team; Preschool-5^th grade dance at Harrison Elementary; J.H. may come to Harrison Elementary for practice.

Banking- Mr. Mangus ready to set dates with Whitewater.

Kid’s Care Club- Need another volunteer to proceed with club.

Drama Club- Auditions: October 15; Performance: February 7
PTA Sponsored Events/Activities

Grandparents’ Day-no new info.

5^th Grade Celebration- Shannon Berry, Jennifer King will coordinate.

Doughnuts for Dad-no new info.

Teacher Appreciation-no new info.

Volunteer Coordinators

Clinic- Will send out papers in folders.

Room Parent Coordinator-new position; form will be given out.
Old Business

By-laws-will vote next mtg.
Hamilton Co. Delegate volunteer needed.
Track Project-will start in next day or two; repair track to give it a thicker base.
Audit completed; everything is satisfactory.
District PTA funds- Stephane will check with Jodie.
Dance-grades 6-8 will have team; may practice at H.E.

New Business

PTA table at Open House-Lisa will be there; she needs someone to help 5^th grade (from 6-7p.m.).

Cafeteria helpers for 1^st/2^nd grade lunch-Christina Stacy will help; looking for volunteers.
Budget items-Hospitality supply: need figure for Grandparents’ Day, Donuts for Dad, Moments with Mom; Bruce will add into budget.

Craft fair removed from budget as well as 6^th grade celebration, Girls on the Run.

September 2 is next PTA mtg.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
