For All Students

Dear Parent/Guardian,

As most of you are now aware, from Saturday 30^th June to Sunday 1^st July we will be holding a junior Summer Camp for all students. The cost is £ 60.00 for the weekend

You will need to arrive at the campsite for 10.00am on Saturday morning and be at the site at 4:00pm on the Sunday to collect your child/children.

On the Sunday there will be a kata competition starting at about 2pm. Any parents wishing to spectate may do so.

6 person tents are provided, but children may bring their own tents if they have them, also all meals are provided but children may bring their own snacks/sweets or any special dietary requirements.

For the weekend your child will need the following:

Karate suit and belt, play clothes, trainers, night clothes, plate, bowl, knife fork, spoon, cup, wash bag including: shampoo, soap, flannel, hairbrush/comb, toothbrush, toothpaste and towels (showers and toilets are provided), a sleeping bag/duvet, and pillow, torch and most importantly any medication, (please register all medication with Kancho Paul Sarginson).

Parents do not have to stay with their children during the weekend, but they may if they want and will need to pay the £40.00 weekend fee. If your child does not want to stay overnight then they can be taken home in the evening and brought back in the morning, and if you are unable to attend the whole weekend, then it is ok to attend part of it.

Children are requested NOT to bring any money, mobile phones or electronic games.

Directions from Folkestone: Alkham Valley Road towards Dover, at very end there is a T junction, turn right, take the left turn into Kearsney Avenue (just before Renault garage), entrance to campsite is at the end before the road bears right.

Directions from Canterbury: A2 to towards Dover, at Whitfield roundabout turn right into Whitfield Hill A256, approaching bottom of hill turn right into Kearsney Avenue, campsite entrance is on the right hand side before the road bears left.
