6:30 PM CALL TO ORDER and Pledge of Allegiance
ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS


  • Approve minutes of the previous meeting

  • Approve purchase orders, payroll and payment of bills

  • Licenses and permits

  • Approve extended street closure on part of Center Street for Library Street Fair


COMMUNICATIONS AND REQUESTS

  • Austin Rhinehart – Request for Boy’s State Sponsorship

  • Millard County report – Commissioner Alan Roper

  • Corrine Lewis, Fillmore Area Chamber of Commerce – Request to partner with city for spring cleanup


OTHER BUSINESS BROUGHT BEFORE COUNCIL

  • Discuss proposal for additional parking for statehouse park visitors

  • Discuss Millard County proposal for School Resource Officer

  • Discuss proposed options for saving the old Millard High School gymnasium verses demolishing it

  • Approve Resolution 13-05 to consolidate Fillmore voting precincts 1 and 2 for the 2013 municipal elections

  • Discuss draft of ordinance to regulate business licensing for door-to-door soliciting
