Directions to Mantenga from the two main border posts into the country, (Ngwenya and Lavumisa) and the main tourist route (Matsamo) directions to mantenga from johannesburg

1. 
   Enter Swaziland through the Oshoek / Ngwenya Border Post. (The best route to get to here from JHB is via Witbank and Carolina).
   
2. 
   Oshoek / Ngwenya Border Post Hours: 7am-10pm
   
3. 
   Distance from JHB: About 380km; 4 hour drive
   
4. 
   Follow the main road from the Border to Mbabane (about 20 km).
   
5. 
   Don’t turn off this road but keep straight to by pass Mbabane.
   
6. 
   Carry on until you reach the traffic lights, near to shopping malls and you’ll see a garage on your right. Go straight through the traffic light.
   
7. 
   Just ahead of you, you will reach another traffic light at a major intersection. There is another petrol station on your right. Turn right following the sign to Manzini.
   
8. 
   You are now on the Mbabane / Manzini highway. Another two traffic lights on this highway and then a straight run. If you are unsure at any stage up until now, just ask anyone to direct you on to the road to Manzini.
   
9. 
   Follow this road until you reach the off ramp to the hotels, and Mlilwane. Take this route and pass the Sun International hotels and the craft stalls on the left. Take a right at the sign to Medisun Clinic, just past the Gables Shopping Centre entrance. This is a small tar road.
   
10. 
    Follow this road, and go straight over the t – junction (an old bridge on your left and directions to Medisun in front of you). Follow this road all the way keeping to the left and this will lead you directly to the Mantenga gate entrance.

DIRECTIONS TO MANTENGA FROM DURBAN: Golela/Lavumisa border post

1. 
   Enter Swaziland through the Golela / Lavumisa border post. (The best route to get to here is along the N2 from DBN via Mkuzi and Hluhluwe).
   
2. 
   Golela / Lavumisa Border Post Hours: 7am-10pm
   
3. 
   Distance from DBN: About 500km; 5 hour drive
   

4. 
   Follow the main road from the Border to Ezulwini (towards the capital city Mbabane. (about 120 km).
   

5. 
   The first turn will be at a t – junction Hhlehhele, taking the left towards Mbabane and Manzini.
   

6. 
   Carry on through Manzini and past Matsapha industrial site until you see the off ramp for Mlilwane and the hotels. Take this and follow the road taking the right exit around the round about, and right at the t – junction.
   
7. 
   Follow this road towards the Gables shopping center but take the small tar road on the left just before the entrance to the Gables. This little road is also sign posted to Medisun Clinic.
   
8. 
   Follow this road, and go straight over the t – junction (an old bridge on your left and directions to Medisun in front of you). Follow this road all the way keeping to the left and this will lead you directly to the Mantenga gate entrance.

   Jeppes Reef / Matsamo Border Post Hours: 7am-8pm

   Distance from Nelspruit: About 195km; 3.5 hour drive

   Follow the main road from the Border to Ezulwini (towards the capital city Mbabane. (about 75 km).

   When reaching Mbabane, don’t turn off this road but keep straight to by pass Mbabane.
