Executive Session-7:00 p.m.

Executive Session on the following subjects: a) the appointment, employment, compensation,

discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the School District; b) collective

negotiating matters between the School District and its employees or their representatives, or

deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; c) the purchase or

lease of real property for the use of the District; d) the setting of a price for sale or lease of property

owned by the District; e) the sale or purchase of investments; f) emergency security procedures; g)

student disciplinary cases; h) the placement of individual students and special education programs

and other matters relating to individual students; i) pending or threatened litigations; j) evaluation of

attorney; k) approval of certain closed session minutes for distribution to the public; or other matters

appropriate for a closed meeting pursuant to the Open Meetings Act.
President, Kirk Riley, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 7:00 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Barb Ellis, Robert Fowler III, Kevin Hess, Brian Munson, David Munson, Travis Nelson and Kirk Riley.

A motion was made by Mrs. Barb Ellis and seconded by Mr. Travis Nelson to adjourn to

closed meeting at 7:01 p.m. to discuss: the appointment, employment, compensation,

discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the School District; collective

negotiating matters between the School District and its employees or their representatives, or

deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; the purchase or

lease of real property for the use of the District; the setting of a price for sale or lease of property

owned by the District; the sale or purchase of investments; emergency security procedures;

student disciplinary cases; the placement of individual students and special education programs

and other matters relating to individual students; pending or threatened litigations; evaluation of

aye: Barb Ellis, Robert Fowler III, Kevin Hess, Brian Munson, David Munson, Travis Nelson and Kirk Riley.

President Kirk Riley, called the regular meeting to return to order at 7:42 p.m.
The administration present consisted of Ken Hatcher, Nancy Brodbeck, Craig Olson, Paul Hoffman and Mike Gardner.
Others present consisted of Recording Secretary, Teresa Bailey and visitors Sherry Thomas, Candi Culp, Nancy Graven and Angie Horvath.
President, Kirk Riley, convenes the 2015 budget hearing at 7:43 p.m.
Superintendent, Kristen Kendrick-Weikle, reviews the 2014-2015 school district budget.
President, Kirk Riley, asked if there was any public comment at which time there was none.
A motion was made by Mr. Travis Nelson and seconded by Mr. David Munson to adjourn the 2014-2015 budget hearing of the Warrensburg-Latham CUSD#11 Board of Education at 7:58 p.m. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
President, Kirk Riley, asked if there were any visitors that would like to address the board at which time there were none.
A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Kevin Hess to approve the consent agenda containing approval of minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of tapes as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Mrs. Barb Ellis and seconded by Mr. Kirk Riley to approve, as presented, the bills for payment for September 2014. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Brian Munson to adopt the FY15 Budget as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Discussion regarding Village of Warrensburg TIF study.
A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Kirk Riley to approve the employment contract for Ken Hatcher as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Mr. Brian Munson and seconded by Mr. Travis Nelson to accept the retirement letter from Mr. Hatcher as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Barb Ellis and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the personnel addendum as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Kirk Riley and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the risk management plan as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Discussion regarding Administrator and Teacher Salary and Benefits Posting.

Various informational items were discussed.

A motion was made by Mrs. Barb Ellis and seconded by Mr. David Munson to adjourn the September 24, 2014 regular meeting of the Warrensburg-Latham CUSD #11 Board of Education at 8:27 p.m. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
