NOTES: Landform/Soil: fluvial/silt loam to gravelly silt. Litt: 25-50, Soil: 5-25, Bryo: 0-5 Range Condition: N/A.

Fan of fluvial soils originating from Cherry Creek. Soil is silty on surface, some gravel bars with thin topsoil. Stoney in the center.

Predominantly Lakit soils - some Salishan at S. end.

Gravel at about 10 cm on bars, stone-free to 15+ cm in swales. Old drill rows still visible. E. side and S. end are likely flooded in some years.

Bromegrass is most prevalent domestic grass. Silverweed indicates soil is alkaline. Weedy - many different species.

Pocket gophers throughout, elk beds in the aspen to the S. Cow sign on road and in field. Rises are grazed very short.

RECOMMENDATION: Whole field should be re-seeded and fertilized as per soil test.

Weed control.
