Utilizing The Drawing Tools

Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 provides a wide range of predesigned shapes, line options or freeform tools that allow you to draw, size, and format your own shapes and forms.

Drawing Tools: Clicking a shape produces a new Drawing Tools tab above the Format tab on the Ribbon. This is part of PowerPoint 2007’s contextual interface, which presents specialized tools that relate to whatever you’re working on. This tab has everything you need to turn a shape that looks like an art project into a professional-looking graphic.

You can create a variety of shapes, including lines, rectangles, basic shapes, block arrows, stars and banners or flowcharts easily by using the Shapes button in the Illustrations group of the Insert tab ribbon.
