Our Annual Association was held on September 17 and 18, 2010. We had 6 members from the Bethlehem Association of United Baptists to join us in our association this year. It was a blessing to fellowship with them once again. This year for our one-hour workshop we had individuals from each church to give a brief history on their church. We are going to continue next year with the churches that were not able to present their histories. We currently have 17 churches and a total membership of 1,808. Our Annual Youth Camp and Bible School was held the week of June 20-25, 2010 with Rev. Johnny Perkins (Central Indian Association) as the evangelist. We had an average attendance of 156 with more youth than last year. We had several youth to dedicate their lives to the Lord, too. We send out the same call that Bro. Paul heard in Acts 16, “Come over and help us!” Our Association Revival was held July 18-23, 2010 with Rev. Eudell Stilts as our evangelist. Rev. Eudell delivered a wonderful message each night filled with spirit and truth. Everyone that attended should be revived. We were also blessed with all of the special singing from the adults and children alike. The average nightly attendance was 71. Our next Association will be held on September 16 and 17, 2011. Our next Association Revival will be July 17-22, 2011 with Rev. Jerry Scott as the evangelist. Our next Annual Youth Camp and Bible School will be held the week of June 19-24, 2011. Our Association was held August 13th & 14th. The Lord blessed us with wonderful messages at each session uplifting and encouraging us with God’s Word. We are pleased to announce that we had a new church, Burkesville Separate Baptist, join our association. It is such a blessing to see God’s work being carried out. We ended our association with communion and feet washing service with over 60 Christians participating. The South Kentucky youth camp was held June 28th thru July 2nd with an average attendance of 75. Our theme this year was Labors in the Field. Rev. Danny Bailey delivered spirit filled messages every night. We are grateful for people that give freely of their time to work with our youth. Remember to keep our young people in your prayers and set a good example before them as they face many trials and tribulations each day. Please keep our Association in your prayers that we will continue to grow in number and spirit. WEST VIRGINIA The West Virginia Association of Separate Baptist in Christ sends greetings to the General Association of Separate Baptist in Christ when convening October 08-09, 2010. The West Virginia Association greets you in letter only as we will not be represented at this year said Association. However our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this seating as you conduct the General Association Business and have fellowship one with another. The West Virginia Association would like to send $50.00 to the General Association to defray in the cost of printing the minutes. The West Virginia Association of Separate Baptist in Christ consists of one church in Crum, West Virginia. We are small in number but have a love and zeal toward the Lord, and the teachings of the Bible. Our prayers are for the church to grow in spirit and in number. The pastor has had another busy year caring for the congregation and for the Nursing Home ministry. Pastor Bobby Allen requests your prayers in this endeavor. The church also offered their dinning hall accommodations for the local Early Head Start. This area was used as their play date time while a new building was being constructed. This is a vital part of our rural community and ensuring our young children have a place to thrive in a learning environment. The church was pleased to help the community with this project. The church is now in prayer for the Lord to send a revival this way. The West Virginia Association sends their apology for the cancellation of this year’s 2010 association at Crum WV, as the church was being used for school thus our dinning hall was set up as a classroom. However we hope to get back on track next year the third Saturday in June 2011. Again the West Virginia Association would like to ask the prayers of everyone for our church to grow both spiritually and physically.
