General Considerations

The student public committee was initiated by the students of the universities in the city of Aktau. The duty of the student public committee "Youth for Fair Elections" is the shaping of the civil participation of young people in the Mangistau region, and the protection of rights and interests of each young voter is the main priority of the work of the committee
Period of Activity

Student public committee "Youth for Fair Elections" will function during the period of the 1^st to the 19^th of September, 2004.

The purpose of the creation of the student public committee "Youth for Fair Elections" is the protection of the rights and interests of each young voter of the Mangistau Region.

Tasks include monitoring pre-election campaigns at the universities in the city of Aktau, and the organization of meetings amongst the students of the universities in the city of Aktau.

The members of the student public committee "Youth for Fair Elections" are chosen from amongst the most active students of universities in the city of Aktau

The work of the student public committee "Youth for Fair Elections" will pass with the support of The Regional Youth Center "Arman", the association "Youth Consolidation of Mangistau" and the National Public Association "For the Future of Kazakhstan".

The informational partners of the student public committee "Youth for Fair Elections" include the newspaper "Ogni Mangistau", "Tumba", "Lada" and the regional television company.

The headquarters of student public committee "Youth for Fair Elections" will be based in the building of The Regional Youth Center “Arman.”
