Media info

Press Office and Daily Press Conferences

Press Office and Daily Press Conferences

A press office close to the Theatre Antique (rue du Cirque) will be at your disposal throughout the festival. A working area for the media, the office will be open every day from 11 am until the end of the last concert at the Theatre Antique. All necessary resources are on offer so that your working conditions are optimal. Computers and internet connections will also be available. Press services will be present to answer any questions you may have: credentials, photo and TV policy, press conferences’ organization, etc.

Press conferences will take place every day with the artists who are scheduled to play that evening, at the journalists’ request.

In 2014, Paolo Conte, The Commodores, Quincy Jones, Ben l’Oncle Soul, Thomas Dutronc, Sergio Mendes, Fatoumata Diawara and Roberto Fonseca took part in Press conferences.

We encourage all journalists and photographers present at the festival to visit the Press office regularly, in order to be well informed on the daily scheduling of media events. Also, you will find your pass at the Press office, on the day of your arrival.

On the Jazz à Vienne website, a media page is dedicated to journalists: www.jazzavienne.com/media

You can legally download any information and promotional artwork from the Jazz à Vienne festival: photos (high resolution, free of rights), press releases, files, press communications are available for free downloads.
Photo policy

Every day, photo policies are revised and posted at the Press Office. They are also sent to photographers by email. We count on everybody’s professional courtesy in accepting and complying with these mandatory guidelines.

Is it possible to film concerts?

Jazz à Vienne records each concert during the festival. Channels may ask for rights to show part of a recording but this must not exceed 3 minutes broadcasting on the news. Excerpts are available further to the artist’s agreement. All other recordings are forbidden, unless specifically authorized.
