Troop 542 Chartered Organization – Supplee Memorial Presbyterian Church
Welcome to the Boy Scouts and Troop 542! First and foremost, Boy Scouting is for the boys, however it still needs adult guidance and assistance to keep our program going. We are fortunate to have an excellent group of adults who have indicated a commitment and a willingness to help according to their abilities and available time. We invite you to add your talents and interests so that the best possible program can be developed for your son and his friends.
Our troop leaders and committee members would like to know if you are interested in helping out and knowing about your talents and experiences. Although your help may not be on a full-time basis, whatever you can do to participate will be appreciated.
In making this survey, your troop committee wants to uncover ways you can enjoy giving assistance. Please answer the following as completely as possible:

For Instructor: Please check off all merit badges that you are interested in teaching (or would like to participate in the teaching of).
While an instructor teaches the merit badge, a Counselor reviews the Boy Scout’s accomplishments against the requirements for the merit badge and if successfully completed, grants the merit badge. If you are skilled in a specific topic or have an interest in being a counselor, please indicate “Counselor” next to the merit badge you checked off.
(1) Some merit badges are available only through BSA camps, or are scheduled to be completed at summer camp, or the necessary resources are not readily available. Please contact the Committee Member responsible for Merit badges if you are interested in one of these topics.
