PAGE 134, PARAGRAPH 291.
I. Greek to English
1. If we preach the gospel to you, ye shall receive salvation and hope. 2. Unless ye receive our witness, ye shall not be saved. 3. Unless this man sees the Lord, he will not believe on him. 4. If it is proclaimed to us that the Lord is good, let us also be good in order that we may teach the rest (remaining persons). 5. I preached* (the gospel to them), in order that they might be saved and might have life. 6. Let us no longer be sinning in order that we might become faithful disciples. 7. Blessed are the multitudes if they hear my words. 8. If those who believe on the Lord enter into that house, there we shall preach the gospel to them. 9. We proclaimed to this people the words of life in order that they might receive the truth and be saved. 10. Let us go to him who has seen the Lord in order that he might teach us concerning him. 11. After they had said these things in the temple, the men that had heard received the things that were being spoken in order that they might preach them also to the rest (the remaining persons). 12. Let us believe on him who died for us, in order that he might write our names in the Book of Life. 13. I will go to him who has saved me, in order that I may not be breaking his commandments, and not be going in the ways of death. 14. I said these things in the temple, in order that those who had heard might be saved from their sins and might have the righteousness of God. 15. If ye saw these things in the evil days, ye shall see the same things both now and forever. 16. Unless yon are taught by the Lord, thou wilt not know him forever. 17. He who is breaking the commandments of God does not have hope unless he returns to the Lord. 18. He received these things from him who had died on behalf of him, in order that the rest (remaining persons), after they had received them, might be saved, even they themselves. 19. After we have gathered together in the house, let us receive the testimony of him who has preached to us the •gospel. 20. After the soldiers had persecuted the saints, in order that they might not believe on him who had saved them, these men gathered together in the synagogue.
* I evangelized them
