Chairman Guy Liebmann called the meeting to order.
Roll was called. Members present as the meeting began included: Billy, Brown, Duncan, Jackson, Joyner, Lindley, Martin (Steve), McAffrey, McPeak, Proctor, Pruett, Thompson, Turner, Wright, Vice-Chairman Martin (Scott), and Chairman Liebmann. None were absent.
HB 2221- expanding eligibility of police license plate to include university police officers- Representative Shoemake was recognized to explain the bill. A motion was made for do pass by Brown and was seconded by Proctor. The following members present voted in favor: Brown, Duncan, Jackson, Martin (Steve), McAffrey, Proctor, Pruett, Thompson, Wright, Vice-Chairman Martin (Scott), and Chairman Liebmann. The following members voted “Nay:” None. The motion prevailed 11-0. The bill will be reported out of committee “Do Pass.”
HB 2231- Roads; removing requirements for markers by ODOT- Representative Murphey was recognized to explain the bill. A motion was made for do pass by McAffrey and was seconded by Proctor. The following members present voted in favor: Brown, Duncan, Jackson, Martin (Steve), McAffrey, Proctor, Pruett, Thompson, Turner, Wright, Vice-Chairman Martin (Scott), and Chairman Liebmann.
