Exclusive Maher Zain CallerTunes for DiGi customers Share the “Freedom” and win Shah Alam, 1 April 2011: Customers of DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DiGi”) will be amongst the first of Maher Zain’s Malaysian fans to have the singer’s latest single, “Freedom” as their CallerTunes. This never-before-released song is now available for subscription, exclusive for DiGi customers. Customers are also able to share ‘Freedom’ with their friends and family through DiGi Gift CallerTunes. From 1 to 30 April, the customer with the most “Freedom” giveaways will win a smartphone. Freedom was composed and arranged by the Lebanese born singer, inspired by the latest issue of freedom in the Middle East and was first recorded live at “Maher Zain Live in Concert” held in Shah Alam recently. According to DiGi’s Head of Segments Marketing, Moharmustaqeem Mohammed, “DiGi is always on the lookout on how best to connect with our customers by being relevant to their needs and interests. We have tailored our music offerings to suit their various preferences and making the offerings easily accessible to our customers. “Based on Maher Zain’s large fan-base in Malaysia, we believe the “Freedom” CallerTunes will be well received by the fans, who are eagerly awaiting the availability of this new song, The opportunity to share their favourite CallerTunes with friends and family also allows them to play an important part in DiGi’s ongoing efforts to promote and build up Malaysian’s familiarity with legal music sharing and downloads,” he added. Available to all DiGi prepaid and postpaid customers, the CallerTunes can be purchased via SMS by sending FREEDOM to 2016 at the price of RM3.00.
