Concert (68’).
Eric Le Sage a very reputed chamber musician (he founded with some other musicians the Festival d’Empéri which is decicated to this kind of music), is also able to perform in solo a very exigent program. This Provençal Musician represents perfectly the Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris where he teaches at present. After he finished his studies, he went to London for polishing his style with the great pianist and pedagogue Maria Curcio. This young French pianist for German repertory, this recital recorded during Les fêtes romantiques by Nohant offers us an perfect resume of piano in romantic time: Beethoven visionary of the 32th (the last one), Sonate, the Schumann dreaming of the Kreisleriana and the diabolic Franz Liszt who created the Ballade n°2.
