Mission: To empower Latino immigrants through educational and economic opportunities.

Dear Prospective Volunteer,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with CASA Latina. CASA Latina is a community-based organization that educates and organizes Latino urban migrant workers and their families so they may become economically independent and contributing members of this community. We depend on the commitment and energy of volunteers like you to carry out our programs.
Volunteering with CASA Latina is a rewarding experience. Not only will you help Latino migrant workers and their families make better lives for themselves, you will also learn about the realities they face as an often invisible community.
There are many ways of contributing to our programs. Enclosed is a description of our volunteer positions and an application. If you are interested in getting involved, fill out the application and let us know which program(s) interest you the most. Each opportunity requires some training and a minimum time (hours, weeks, months) commitment.

  • All volunteers must fill out the application and email volunteer application to haydee@casa-latina.org

We sometimes receive many more volunteer applications than we have open positions. As a result, we are not able to offer every prospective volunteer a position right away. We are honored by your interest in CASA Latina and are committed to finding a place in the organization for as many people as possible. After receiving your application we will contact you to set up an interview. If no opportunities are open we will keep your application in the pool of applicants and contact this pool for interviews as needs arise. Our volunteers’ hard work, heartfelt generosity and dedication greatly strengthen our programs. Our sincere gratitude goes out to you for your support. We look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,
Casa Latina Staff
