|Material Transfer Agreement for bar-Gene-Containing pGWB Vectors to Non-Profit Recipients
Dr. Tsuyoshi Nakagawa in Shimane University (hereafter the PROVIDER) will provide the MATERIALS indicated below to the scientist who wish to receive the MATERIALS (hereafter the RECIPIENT), when the RECIPIENT agrees the conditions indicated in this document.
Description of MATERIALS to be Provided:
The RECIPIENT, who is a principal investigator, will use the MATERIALS in the RECIPIENT’s research group only.
The RECIPIENT will use the MATERIALS for non-profit purposes only.
The RECIPIENT will not provide the MATERIALS [including any derivatives; except for the LR-reaction products (i.e. expression clones) published already in the RECIPIENT’s research paper] to any persons who are out of the RECIPIENT’s research group.
Whenever the RECIPIENT publishes the results derived from the research using the MATERIALS, the RECIPIENT cites following article in the publications.
Tanaka, Y., Shibahara, K., and Nakagawa, T.: Development of Gateway Binary Vectors R4L1pGWBs Possessing the Bialaphos Resistance Gene (bar) and the Tunicamycin Resistance Gene as Markers for Promoter Analysis in Plants. Biosci. Biotechnol. Biochem., 77, 1795-1797 (2013).
Whenever the RECIPIENT published the results derived from the research using the MATERIALS, the RECIPIENT will acknowledge both the PROVIDER and Meiji Seika Kaisha, Ltd., which is the original source of the bar gene. For example, the following sentence should be included in the Acknowledgment section of the publication: “We thank Dr. Tsuyoshi Nakagawa (Shimane University) for providing Gateway binary vectors that contain the bar gene, which was identified by Meiji Seika Kaisha, Ltd.”
The RECIPIENT will send a reprint (or a copy) of the publication described above to the following both (1) and (2).
