Hawaii State Assessments – Overall “Not Met”, NCLB status:

“In Good Standing, Pending”

Raising percentage of Reading proficiency per grade level (avg. 70%)
Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) – (Pearl City Complex) - For Elementary level - -use of planner, organization of desk, backpack, binders, note-taking
Robotics – First Lego League (FLL)
Na Keiki O Manana / Complex music festival in February 2012?
“Service Learning” with HIS, PCHS - Aquaponics
Athletics (with PCHS) – Track Meet (May 2012), Basketball Tournament (November 2011)
Use of web-based programs: Achieve 3000, MY Access!
Facilities: Electrical /Fire alarm upgrades, Reroof/ Bathroom Renovation, Drainage Improvements / Portable classroom(s)

Enrollment increasing – 454 – Grades K, 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are large
HSA Objectives – Reading (72%), Math (64%)
Implementing Common Core State Standards in Grades K-2
No Planning and Collaboration Days
Disadvantaged Subgroup increasing (approx. 40%)
Directed Leave Without Pay days
