Description: Rapidly-spreading, creeping groundcover with small coin-shaped leaves.
Origin: Europe.
Height x width: 4 to 8 inches tall and 2 feet spread.
Growth habit: Prostrate and spreading.
Foliage: Opposite, rounded, 1 inch long, borne on long stems that root along their length.
Flowers: Inconspicuous yellow flowers produced in the early summer in the leaf axils.
Culture: Grows in sun or shade. Plants spread quickly in rich, moist soil. Potentially invasive. Foliage of the cultivar ‘Aurea’ loses some of its yellow color if not grown in full sun.
